"Modern cuisine that makes full use of herbs and spices, created by a chef who works single - handedly in full view of the diners. Minimalist and intimately scaled (numbers are deliberately limited) in a resolutely contemporary setting." - Michelin Inspector

Booked for our anniversary dinner. We went for the trust menu and requested in advance for it to be vegan. We had the best time! Every dish was gorgeous, presented perfectly with lovely crockery. Our meal came with champagne and two glasses of wine which went great with our food. The restaurant itself has a wonderful atmosphere and the service was friendly, well paced and warm. Thank you for a lovely evening and for making our anniversary celebration even more special!

This is the best restaurant I've been in Bordeaux. The food is exquisite, the chef manages the whole kitchen by himself. All dishes are pure perfection and the use if botanical elements make them memorable. I will be back and I fully recommend this place not only for its quality but also because their prices are fair, even too cheap. A must when in Bordeaux!

We had high expectations due to some reviews written here. In the beginning everything looked nice. Beautiful decor, with an open kitchen, in an ancient building. Problems started a few minutes later: There’s only one waitress for the whole restaurant. The amuse bouche was delicious. In fact it was the best thing we had there. The cold soup was “ok”, nothing “special”, but not bad. The main course was a disaster. I had the lamb and it was tasteless. Hubby had the fish (small pieces where we couldn’t taste it as the lime flavor was too intense). Presentation was also poor. Bread was dry, and that’s a pity in a country where bread is almost always perfect, everywhere you go. The cheese plate had below average cheese, in very small portions, with a touch of “humor” (bad humor in my opinion): A mouse trap “decorating” the plate!?!? A flower, or even nothing, would have been more appropriate. The other dessert was just “ok”. Again, below average. In my opinion there’s no way a restaurant can work properly with just one person taking care of all tables and only one person cooking, without assistants. If I knew this beforehand, for sure I wouldn’t have made reservations here.

This was my favorite restaurant throughout my trip. The chef was extremely talented and he was in his element producing extremely high quality food and flavors. This meal was absolutely fantastic. This place is a must visit for anyone. You will not be disappointed.

We have just left the restaurant and i just can't get over how GREAT it was on every parameter: excellent, creative food in a nice and familiar atmosphere with the nicest waitress ever and in an amazing space. Highly recommended, we will definitely go back if we're in bordeaux again.

Reception was poor, the bread was stale, the cheese plate was a laugh. The restaurant is all about some gimmicky presentations but lacks to serve real tasteful dishes. Also, the service was very disappointing. Almost all tables were sitting with empty glasses. Think twice, before going here.

Wow! All fantastic. Best meal in France so far. Paired wines go nice. Extremely creative in the melding of flavors. Chef has got imagination and delivers on it through talent. All dishes are beautifully presented.

My best meal in two weeks in France. Fabulously paced, beautifully presented, and delicious.

Yelp
I hate to give such a beautiful restaurant only 4 stars! But C'Yusha did not compare to any of the other Michelin Guide restaurants I visited on my trip to France, and at this price point, I expected more. I agree with another reviewer that the "wow" just didn't appear for most dishes. My husband and I ordered a demi bottle of red wine, which was the perfect size for us, along with the full tasting menu. We explained our dietary preferences, and they were accommodated perfectly. Please refer to my pictures for the courses. I believe there were 2 that I missed (not pictured: duck and bread with curry butter)? My favorites were the artichoke soup and the roasted red pepper passion fruit sorbet. The soup was smoky and delicious! It didn't seem to go extremely well with the daikon and beet (?) crostini, but I really enjoyed the flavor and creaminess. BUT THE SORBET. WOWWWWW this was the best part of the meal for me! Just a spoonful was all it took for me to fall in love. Who knew that roasted red pepper and passion fruit would go together so well?? I can't describe how amazing this was. Everything else was just so-so for me, except for the service, which was stellar. I imagine the menu changes often, and I probably would return to try different courses. Overall, a nice place for a romantic dinner, and pretty good food.

Yelp
before we even travelled to bordeaux we already checked out several restaurant to go eat at. and this one is one of the top of our list! Food: theyre very experimental (incl. worms for a snack, glasses out of ice, and so on) which i like a lot. it is always a surprise of what comes next on your plate! unfortunately there was always something missing in the dishes. the kind of thing where you're like "wow" just didnt appear. but theyre totally on their way to be one of the top restaurants of bordeaux! Service: very nice couple that owns this restaurant! Atmosphere: i really like their interior design! it looks like in an old cellar and is nicely decorated with a lot of wood. fancy and cozy! i hope i can come back to bordeaux again to eat at this restaurant again! and maybe the next time i can give a 5 stars review! :)
