I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant De Burgemeester in Oirschot and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. Tucked away in the charming town of Oirschot, this cozy restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a delightful meal with friends and family. From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff greeted me with genuine smiles and were incredibly attentive throughout the entire meal. The quaint, rustic decor creates a sense of comfort and relaxation, allowing you to truly enjoy your time there. Now, let's talk about the food! The menu at Restaurant De Burgemeester is thoughtfully crafted, showcasing a variety of local and seasonal ingredients. I was lucky enough to visit during asparagus season, and I must recommend the Asparagus Risotto. The dish was creamy and bursting with flavor, with the asparagus adding a delightful freshness to the meal. Each bite was a culinary masterpiece, and it's easily one of the best risottos I have ever tasted. While I could go on and on about the Asparagus Risotto, it would be remiss not to mention the rest of the menu, which offers a range of appetizers, main courses, and desserts that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. The chef clearly takes pride in their craft, and it shows in the quality and presentation of each dish. In conclusion, if you find yourself in Oirschot, Restaurant De Burgemeester is a must-visit. Do yourself a favor and try the Asparagus Risotto when it's in season - I promise you won't be disappointed!

Despite the fact that the plate as served did not match what was presented on the menu (and explicitly discussed while ordering), the food was really well prepared and was delicious. At times we felt hidden in plain sight. Tables around us seemingly got a lot of attention, whereas we had to wait quite some time to order food and drinks, even though staff did notice, for example, our empty glasses. The time between appetizer and main course was quite long as well. + atmosphere + quality of food - service Would come back for the food and member of staff that eventually served us well.

Delicious food, prices are very reasonable, and service was wonderful. We recommend the surprise menu, which was a 3, 4 or 5-course menu with spectacular food.

Lovely restaurant in the heart of Oirschot. Managed to arrange us a place without reservation and even put up with our small kids. Lovely variety of food, of which I would recommend the seafood based dishes. Staff friendly and have no problem speaking English.

The food was really nice, we had starters, main and dessert. All really good! The staff was very friendly, it was a quiet and cosy place. Definitely recommend this place.
