First time I’ve ever left a Michelin-starred restaurant still feeling hungry. The value for money was very disappointing: while the plates were nicely presented, the portions (only 6) were far too small and the flavors and ingredients much too simple for this level of cuisine, far from what you’d expect from starred gastronomy.
Another very regrettable point: no mignardises were offered at the end of the meal, even though a hair was found in one of my dishes. I finished the plate out of discretion, but it left me feeling very uncomfortable.
On top of that, the evening was spoiled by the presence of numerous small insects (midge-like) that kept falling onto the table, plates, and glasses. The staff was friendly and helpful, and none of these issues were their fault.
I honestly wonder how this restaurant managed to get a Michelin star. This was one of my worst culinary experiences, even though I’ve always enjoyed Michelin-starred restaurants, no matter the country.
