the service is painfully slow as they only have one waitress, the food was nice but not outstanding (the steak is the best dish)

Have visited this restaurant on six occasions previously with our dog, We have sat upstairs with the piano and downstairs and on one occasion outside. Tonight we had booked for four people, two guests staying with us who we had told how good the food at the restaurant is, upon arriving we noticed a no dogs allowed sticker on the window, when we entered we we informed that dogs are normally allowed, when we informed the lady that we had eaten there with the dog on numerous occasions she said that we had not🤬 very unpleasantly. Using Google translate she then informed us that she used to tolerate small dogs but now she didn't like dogs and we should leave them in the car. And so they lost a booking of four people. We were due to book again in three weeks for a table of eight. Not any more.

Such a lovely place to rest and to celebrate life ENORMOUS portions and huge amount of food (I mean, be careful :) ) Genuine and totally generous approach. Sain Jacques, duck, bread, and pear were so yum Will keep this warmth forever <3 Merci Beau Coup

Wonderful food, friendly service, beautiful atmosphere for a good price. The food is regional and culinary, but at a creative level you would expect only in larger cities. Will revisit!

My first time here visiting with British friends who live here. Exceptional quality food and cooked, in my view to a Michelin star level. Very well priced with good wine and service was polite and warm Not had food like this for a very long time! I'd be back in a heartbeat but alas only on holiday Thank you to the restaurant and their team

Everything was extremely delicious. I believe this photo says it all : You don't want to miss a single bite, even not a single drop :) A really rare price quality ratio. A jewel not to miss in a beautiful small village!

Super quality and value for money. Modern but non fussy French cuisine in a fabulous setting in the old quarter of Salies de Béarn.

Wonderful different delicate flavours. Beautiful complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Everything from crockery, ambiance to service was just right. Third time here and great as always.
