No doubt that this restaurant is one of the best representatives of Bavarian cuisine, and the roasted pork knuckle(Haxe) and roasted schnitzel (or fried) are highly recommended. The waiters speak fluent English, the people are very friendly, and there is enough parking space. Don't forget to call ahead to make a reservation.

We only ate at the restaurant and didn't stay at the hotel - they have a rather extensive range of traditional meals that can be prepared gluten free, and we thoroughly enjoyed our food, though we did have a lot of back-and-forth with the waiter discussing what changes would have to be made to the meals to make them gf even though they were marked as options that could be made gf. The staff were very friendly even if there was a little confusion at first!

Loved it! Some of the best draft beer I've had, and I've never had pork knuckle...but it is good. The pork knuckle was Like a juicy roast tenderloin wrapped around a bone with a crispy pork rind wrapped around that. It was in a light gravy. The matzah ball wasn't bad, and the red cabbage had just the right sweetness to set off that pork. Dorfwirt delicious! Naturally had the apple strudel, consumed to quickly for photo, which was amazing.
