Restaurant Einer

A bit disappointed with the experience since we've expected to be getting 5 courses from the menu as it says on restaurants webpage "Weekday menu 900,- Our chefs pick out 5 courses from our set menu". However the version we've gotten was without "expensive" components that the table beside us has gotten, with their 8 course full menu. Example: our potato tart came with no caviar and so did the turbot dish, that lacked vendace roe. Otherwise the dessert was the highlight of the meal with perfect pairings and combinations of flavors.

Incredibly warm and cozy space, the kitchen is open to the dining room, but not too close. Perfect. We had the 'Botanica' menu (which they also kindly made vegan for us), it was delicious. The wines we enjoyed were great, staff were super friendly and we felt welcome right away. Wonderful place to bring a date, your foodie friends, colleagues or business partners. Would love to go back!

Definitely on their way to a star. High quality service, ingredients, cooking. Everything was amazing from the entrance/staff to the dessert and wine. We enjoyed this meal even more than one of the starred restaurants we went to while in Oslo. Highly recommend. Can't say anything bad!!

Fantastic experience with friendly and knowledgable staff. They explained each dish in great details. Every single question I asked, I got a professional answer. My first Nordic fusion experience which I don’t believe I can get the same in Japan with the same price. Their wine knowledge was amazing as well, I still cannot forget the red wine they recommended. Too bad that I didn’t/couldn’t take any videos simply I was too tired after a 24 hours flight. However, I will try to incorporate pictures I took into my vlog. Norway is too far for me to visit again, but, this meal and their service definitely will stay in my mind forever. Thank you all!

Amazing food except for the dessert. Dessert is the same as any other restaurant in Oslo. We had the food tasting menu with wine pairing. Unfortunately wine pairing was bad. Most of the wines doesn't go well with the food especially the white wines. But service was fantastic. The chefs will greet you when you enter the restaurant while they are cooking -which is very welcomy vibe. They also have very cool underground bar that you should check out.

My husband and I had such a great dinner here. It was a relaxed and comfortable environment with delicious and approachable, but high end, food. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I am so glad we were able to make last minute reservations here while in Oslo. We also had a great night cap at the Einbar downstairs on their last night before closing for the season.

We just had an amazing evening at Einer. The food is amazing, 6 great courses with surprise appetizers in between and exciting wine choices. What really pushed the experience over the top was the super warm and helpful waiters and chefs. We will be back soon.

One of my favourite dining experiences. Lovely came by for the summer menu on the grill. Staff was friendly and accommodating to allergens. Lovely pairing of dishes.
