"A restaurant that has made a name for itself in the Arán valley! Here, the modern-inspired cooking is a surprising combination of locally sourced seasonal ingredients and Asian and Spanish-American flavours. It offers an à la carte-style menu entitled Er Occitan (on which you can choose an appetiser, starter, main course and dessert) plus a more extensive surprise tasting menu. One dish we can particularly recommend is the organic Berry green lentils with Vadouvan curry, pigeon and coconut." - Michelin Inspector
Wonderful service. Explained menu items in detail with appropriate background as to their origins. Delicate contrasting flavours which melded together beautifully. Where else are you going to have black olive ice cream with chocolate? Highly recommend!

We have had lunch at Er Occitan several times. There is always a wide range of dishes and wines, and the choice is updated regularly. The service is good. The waitress/manager speaks several languages, including English and French. Excellent meal at a reasonable cost.

Fantastic restaurant! Our second visit was as good as our first two years ago. Tasty and copious three course meals for 35 Euro and affordable drinks. Many of the dishes combine meat and fish. As dessert I had 'the origin of Panatone', a delicious decomposition of the tastes of this classic Italian cake.

At €45 pp lunch menu, and at this level of cuisine, it is very surprising to find in this area. Simply flawless lunch experience, with exquisite dishes, one is better than the other.
