The 19 Best Restaurants In Menorca - Menorca - The Infatuation

"Slow all the way down for an intimate dinner at this converted 18th-century mansion in Ciutadella’s old town. Herbs grow in hanging baskets under whitewashed arches, and we can only presume they’re plucked and plated on the pretty dishes coming from the open-plan kitchen. Unsurprisingly, menus (around €35 per person) are driven by whatever is in season: plump tomatoes and fresh figs in the summer, earthy mushrooms in the fall. Regular plates include coca bread with toppings like sweet, juicy apricots or sobrasada drizzled with honey, plus fish fresh from the surrounding waters." - isabella noble

Tranquility Breeds Creativity on the Quaint Island of Menorca

"Es Tast De Na Silvia is a pioneering Slow Food restaurant in Ciutadella, Menorca, run by local chef Silvia Anglada. It is located in a former 16th-century chapel and serves dishes like arroz de la tierra, using antique xeixa wheat."

The best restaurant I’ve tried in a long time! I went with a group of fellow foodies, we enjoyed from the first to the last dish (dessert included). With only a few tables, an open kitchen visible to all guests, and a chef who prepares each dish with care, beauty, and attention, the whole experience gets that final touch that makes it truly special. Definitely one for my “must come back” list!

This restaurant is an absolute gem. The venue itself is stunning — it used to be a chapel, so the space has beautiful high ceilings and a truly special ambience. It’s a family-run place focused on slow food, with everything locally sourced and full of flavor. You can even watch the chef cooking, which adds to the authentic feel. Every dish we had was incredibly delicious, and even the homemade kombucha was one of the best I’ve ever tried. The whole experience felt thoughtful and elevated. It’s perfect for a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or any special occasion. Prices are very fair for the quality. Just a really, really good place — highly recommended.

Food was delicious and local, service was kind, courteous, and quick, and we loved the atmosphere and thoughtfulness of the space. Each dish felt like you were experiencing a part of the island.

What can we say, we went spontaneously at 8pm and we were lucky to get a spot. Next time we would place a reservation. The ambience is lovely, it is a small place, which lives the „slow food“ style to the fullest. The menu is changing for every season and there are even lovely daily menus, like the fish „catch of the day“ or as Toni‘s son said to us, what ever Silvia the cook has in stock. We had together 3 entres, two main courses, 2 desserts, a bottle of wine and water. Everything was delicious.⭐️⭐️⭐️ Since Silvia is doing nearly all the cooking by herself it takes a while to arrive, the portions aren‘t huge but boy oooh boy was I fingerlicking everything.😍 For our full evening there we payed 150.- + 20.- tip. It was money well spend! The service was really friendly. Some deserts have to be ordered at the start of the dinner cause Silvia does them from scratch, like the lava chocolate muffin. Bring cash cause the W-lan connection isn‘t the best, but Toni told us all this before we took a seat.

Tiny family restaurant, reservations only by phone, payment only in cash, absolutely fantastic food. They don't have set menus, just ala carte, and they have a few dishes that are not on the menu. For example lamb croquettes with saffron, and french toast made from ensaimadas. For mains, we had the pork and the lamb, both were amazingly flavourful.

uau! Thanks to chat gpt we discovered this restaurant and it was worth it!! It is famous for its local ingredients. It is located on a small street, a little bit hidden. I would say it is a hidden gem. The food was delicious and the wines from menorca also amazing. The only downside is that they don’t accept card payments but there is an atm close by. No issues. 1 entrance, 2 mains and 1 desert + 2 glasses of wine and water costed us 95 euros.
