Restaurant Espace PH3 @ Hôtel La Pyramide

Really food and exceptional atmosphere in my eyes - reminiscent of a Michelin dining experience. In fact the sister restaurant located in the hotel is a two star michelin resteraunt so you are able to get a similar experience at a much lower pricepoint. The service was very accommodating and the prefix menu was tasty. One good sign of this restaurant’s quality is that my party was the only group who spoke English - every other table was full of French people. I appreciated the attention to detail in the design of the dining area and the focus on the small things like the butter they brought per my request. Would definitely recommend a meal at one of the Pyramide restaurants during your visit in Vienne and would say it’s worth making the trip from Lyon if you have time. Additional note: Even if you aren’t staying at the hotel, I would highly recommend coming for their breakfast which was outstanding. The lunch was great, but their breakfast offering was one of if not the best breakfast I’ve ever had.

Very interesting menu, some good surprises expected. Prices are not low, but they are adequate for the quality of the service and overall experience.

Un vrai coup de cœur ! PH3 coche absolument toutes les cases : une cuisine de saison, précise, pleine de personnalité, et un accueil aux petits soins dès la première minute. Dans cette gamme de prix, je n’ai jamais aussi bien mangé. Le travail autour des champignons est juste exceptionnel — textures, assaisonnements, cuissons, tout est maîtrisé à la perfection. Chaque plat raconte quelque chose, avec des produits d’une fraîcheur irréprochable. Le cadre est à la hauteur : raffiné, apaisant, élégant sans en faire trop. On sent une vraie exigence, mais jamais au détriment du plaisir. Une adresse qui mérite le détour, et surtout qu’on y revienne !

The food was very good, however the service was disappointing and not to the level of what a 2 Michelin star restaurant should be. Our observations were that the staff was very uncomfortable with English which made the experience very difficult for us as we could not ask questions, clarify the menu, were charged for supplements in a way which was not clear or specified on the menu (no pricing was on the English menu), overcharged for drinks we did not ask for yet were brought to us. Beyond the language difficulties, the service felt very rushed and hasty as we were being pushed through the courses. There was no sense of intimacy or special care/attention paid to the guest which we expect for a fine dining experience like this. In the end, although we noticed multiple up charges we had no way to communicate this to the staff as they could not understand. We decided it would be better to just pay and leave. Perhaps the experience would be different if we were fluent in French -however all of our reservations, prior email communications with the hotel staff, website all used English so we assumed they were welcome to English speakers. TLDR: not the best experience for those not fluent in French, next time I would skip and do a few of the multiple 1 Michelin stars in Lyon (just 30 min away) which provide much better value and high level of service.

Not sure why everything seems to combine the restaurant and hotel, but both are amazing and this is truly the only place I've ever been where they're so closely intermingled. The staff takes care of you no matter what interaction you have with them. Rooms, exceedingly comfortable and just about perfect other than the shower. The Gastronomic Restaurant is maybe the best deal in the world at lunch for a 2 Michelin star restaurant. Sitting outside under a canopy of trees and tents, impeccable service and a 67 Euro lunch which includes 3 courses plus 3-4 additional smaller bites and even a half bottle of wine and coffee per person. My only regret is ordering the half bottle of Guigal white (from an admittedly limited list) which I knew better than to order, but just wasn't thinking. Oh well, mostly my fault. If you can make it to La Pyramide, do it. Wow, on all levels - especially the lunch.

Delightful 2-star Michelin ranked "La Pyramide"! Awesome creative upscale French dishes with top-notch service enjoyed inside or on their shaded patio... I love their amuse bouches and their surprising pre-desserts. The 'menu du marché' (lunch menu in French) is an excellent quality/ratio deal. You can park in their gated parking lot.

We had the 3 and 4 courses set menu. It's way more than just worth the price. Marvelous new experience of food texture, gradience and combination, meantime you are still able to enjoy the freshness of the food itself. It's just delicious. Their collection of soft cheeses brought me brand new understanding of what is really tasty cheese. From now on, I'm only looking for soft cheeses covered by light orange or white color fungus. If you are going to Lyon or on the way to south France, do not miss this place. You won't regret it!
