Restaurant known for their couscous. Tony had the royale, which is served with veggies, merguez sausage, chicken, chickpeas, lamb, and meatballs.

The best couscous I have eaten these last years. The mechoui is absolutely delicious - soft like butter and incredibly tasty. Meat balls are also very good. The place is nicely decorated. Staff is really friendly and helpful, especially the owner, who is a real showman.

Extremely overrated and very pricey !! The positive reviews come from tourists who are not used to what is a real high-quality couscous. Avoid this place, there are so many better places in Marseille to have amazing North African food (and for a third of the price !).

What a great place. I came here because I saw it in Anthony Bourdain episode in Marseille and I am happy that I came, the service was fantastic. A very genuine waiter. And the couscous is just perfect. Delicious well seasoned and a huge portion at a very fair price. Great experience

My favorite coucous place in Marseille! The classic is served with wheat semolina but they have a special barley semolina! Super original and delicious! The decoration of this restaurant is great with typical dishes. The staff is nice and helpful.

Good couscous and fun restaurant, but definitely feels overpriced for what it is, and relative to other restaurants in the area. Couscous with one lamb skewer was 24 euros on its own.

Very cute decoration, and cozy place. The service is nice but nothing exceptional. The prices are very high but the portions are generous. I liked it but it wasn't anything to write home about, unfortunately. I don't think I would go back but I'm glad I went to try it for myself after seeing all the mixed reviews.

A real authentic Berber experience and great service - one of the most tasty couscous I had in ages.

Very tasty, fun decor, but they have huge portions and wouldn’t let me take away my leftovers because when you reheat the dish it makes you sick? Yet, they do offer take-out, so why do those people get to eat at home and likely eat leftovers a second day at their own risk? It felt incredibly wasteful and I was there for hours trying to finish. And what is the difference between wheat and barley couscous aside from the price difference? No explanations on that other than “it tastes better” or a basic wine rec. I’m left so perplexed by this place I’m leaving my first ever google review lol.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food and ridiculously large portions the couscous itself (white and whole-grain semolina), the clay pots full of flavorful vegetables and meat in soothing broth, and the spicy merguez. The traditional clay dishware and long wooden spoons made eating an even more fun experience than it would have been from the wonderful food alone. What detracted from the experience was the service, which was a bit brusque and careless it was hard to catch the waiter's attention despite the restaurant being all but empty. It was also a bit off putting that one could not order a portion to share, even though the food is served family-style anyway and the portions were so large that we had to leave more than half of our food uneaten. I sincerely hope the food was re-served, as we only touched what we put on our plates. Still, the prices were still quite fair (less than 20 Euros per person) and the food so warming, soothing, healthy-tasting and remarkable that I would urge you to go there regardless.

Yelp
très impoli. ne perdez pas votre temps Don't go here. Wish I could give 0 stars. There are so many other places to choose from.

Yelp
This is a perfect place for stupid tourists who want to taste the so called exotic North African- Algerian food while on a trip to Marseille. Shortly, stay away from here if you respect yourself. Except their names the food has nothing to do with Algeria or North Africa. Actually that does not matter for stupid tourist who are ready to throw their money to any touristic trap. I don't blame them for showing no respect to their customers and serving terrible food for extraordinary prices. Go taste it and don't forget to share on Instagram. That's what all matters for you!

Yelp
Could be the best couscous of Marseilles, a family business since decades located in Noailles: THE place.

Yelp
One of the best couscous I 've had. The couscous d'orge is delicious. We come to eat here every time we are in town and sometimes make a detour just to remember how good it is. The ambiance is great and the owner is a character! A place to try and come back to often!!!!
