I’m an Italian guy who came across Fi’Lia by pure chance, randomly looking for an Italian restaurant with a view on the Dubai skyline with affordable prices. I went there with honestly low expectations; you know, it is difficult to find the real Italian tastes outside of Italy (sometimes it’s even hard to find them in Italy itself), but I was truly impressed by the quality of the food, the service and the view. The service was great, even though we booked last minute they were able to find us a spot with the view of the skyline, we really appreciated that. The food was great as well, I have to be honest, a carbonara like that it’s only available close to Rome. We tried also parmigiana, polpette, arancini and pizza, everything was above our expectations, with Italian flavors but also with the correct “contamination” of Arabian culture. In the end we were so impressed and happy that we decided to come back the day after to try out other dishes and to eat again the carbonara. A special mention also to the sweets, that were as good as the main dishes. Prices are aligned with our expectations, we spent between 500 and 600 AED drinking only analcholic beverages.
This place definitely deserves a try.
