Restaurant Fond Rose - Bocuse

An absolutely superb dining experience. The level of attention and care we received was truly exceptional — every detail felt curated with precision and warmth. We chose the Menu Élégant: the salmon entrée was incredibly flavorful, followed by the volaille AOP with morels — perfectly cooked and deeply satisfying. The fondant dessert was a flawless finish. My friend opted for the Menu du Marché, which was equally impressive — fresh, balanced, and full of refined flavors. Honestly, this restaurant deserves not just a mention in the Michelin Guide, but a Michelin star. The experience was elegant from start to finish. Highly recommended. Thumbs up for the chef!

Waiter (Maxence) with attitude, lamb excellent, daurade overdone on a bed of mush, nothing on the plate was acceptable. Truffle on eggs is a miss. Strawberries and ice cream, perfect. A restaurant trading on a name. Our first and last visit. Visiting from Montreal

Quality food, but that is expected given the price point. Service was okay given the volume of people eating dinner. The salmon tartar was well seasoned and fresh, the duck was cooked perfectly and the sauce was well prepared, the dessert was good but I would try something else next time. The only miss was the rain, they should prepared the outdoor seating better to allow for more coverage. The group that I was with had to move the table in and huddle together to not get wet.

A wonderful restaurant with excellent service amidst a beautiful garden. We had the daily menu which was super delicious. Highly recommended.

Absolutely disappointing. The location is beautiful, but it starts with paper cover on the tables and worn down sunshades. But most disappointing was the food and service. Food: clearly pre-prepared on the plate, the tomato salad came directly out from fridge, the presentation but moreover the quality was not what you would expect. The other starter was too cold too ( bbq eggplant with burrata). The main we took the most expensive fish and it was cooked to death (overcooked). Service: too many people for one table, nobody knew what we have ordered or not: we have not been asked once to have a wine with our menu. After we had ordered champagne for aperitif, the wine glases were taken away from the table without asking. Definitely overpriced for what you get and i will mot recommend this restaurant to my colleagues and company based in lyon. Name is not key for success.

quality. Going to a restaurant with the name Bocuse, you expect a certain level of quality, but it was just average. I couldn't even finish my risotto.

No mistakes, you eat and enjoy the classic french cuisine by far , and the place located with the decor so much fabulous and the staff so lovely and professional.

Service désastreux: personne n'a mangé en même temps, aucun effort de la part du personnel pour parler anglais (langue de la moitiée des convives sur une tablée de 25 personnes). Attitude condescendante du chef de rang. Cuisine: médiocre, une soupe de petit pois sans interet qui nous a valu une belle rigolade avec nos amis tellement elle semblait sortir d'un pot de Bledina et le poisson trop cuit et....des gauffres en dessert!??!?! Sans intéret, passé votre chemin... Ambiance: bruyante Étonnament c'est la troisième fois que je poste mon avis et le restaurant se débrouille pour le faire suprimé. Qu'à cela ne tienne, je vais le poster sur ts les sites.

Best meal of our trip, fantastic escargot in a dual layered blanc cream and tomato sauce. The poulet was perfectly done, everyone enjoyed their dishes. Service was good, but they cannot make a dirty martini for you ... but the food was amazing.
