Frank

"The open kitchen takes centre stage at this relaxed, contemporary restaurant, with its soft lighting, flickering candles, comfy sofas and designer wooden furnishings. Choose between an à la carte and a tasting menu – both of which offer flavour-packed, original and understated modern dishes." - Michelin Inspector

How Chefs Make 'Hygge' Foods High End

"Frank in Copenhagen has a savory æblskiver served with crème fraîche and caviar. Chef Christoffer Brink's version is very minimalistic and clean, served as an amuse bouche topped with Rogn caviar for a soft, warm, salty and doughy bite all at once." - Marisel Salazar

I came to Frank with high expectations, but it didn’t quite deliver. Some dishes were genuinely good, especially the pork and the Gillardeau oyster. However, others missed the mark. The fried oyster was boring, and the side salad was far too salty. The restaurant promotes itself as Asian fusion inspired, but as someone Asian, I didn’t find anything particularly new or exciting. Many reviews mention bold and unique flavors, but I have to disagree. Overall, a 3-star experience for me. On top of that, the service felt cold. The staff member who looked after our table wasn’t friendly and made us feel a bit left out, which added to the overall disappointment. A 3-star experience for me.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service staff very warm and friendly! We both had the set menu and tried each of the three types of oysters. All of the dishes were gorgeous. In addition to the set menu we had the cod dish and it was so worth an additional main. The wine list was exceptional and we had a great evening dining here

We had a lovely dinner at Frank this evening. I strongly recommend this place for a relaxed, long dinner with excellent food and a cosy atmosphere. We loved every single dish - we honestly can’t fault any one. We really enjoyed the staff as well - extremely efficient and kind. Can’t wait to return :)

This was our final restaurant after spending 2.5 weeks in Scandinavia. Having been to many different Michelin star restaurants over the past 2.5 weeks, this restaurant was an absolute gem! Husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and I’m so glad we did, because every dish was fantastic. The Korean fried oyster was so good, I wished we had space for more! It was so unique. The iberico tomahawk was so tender, we just kept wanting more! We left the restaurant very happy. Even though they do not have the Michelin rank, I think they are well deserving of it! Highly recommend! Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely place and a great experience. The service is on point, relaxed and personal. The atmosphere is very warm and easygoing. The prices are doable - the smaller dishes were a bit expensive compared to their size. Bread is amazing.

I think this might be the best restaurant I’ve ever been too. Every dish was exceptional, the staff were brilliant and the atmosphere was great. I’m so glad we booked.

Terrific flavor innovations in an unpretentious and cozy setting. The waiters adapt to your pace and bring out a myriad of delicious dishes that have been prepared by the chef from an open and visible kitchen to delight the eyes and the palate. The gnocchi and mushroom preparation is a cheese froth, the tartare and the cod with fennel concoctions were particularly memorable but every serving was a pleasurable experience. Looks like they have picked up more than one Michelin honorable mention. Excellent wine list, which is reasonably priced.

Yelp
Fantastic experience. We managed to snag a reservation at the last minute and it was the highlight dinner of our Europe trip. The Iberico pork is amazing. The sauce was incredible. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Copenhagen
