"The open kitchen takes centre stage at this relaxed, contemporary restaurant, with its soft lighting, flickering candles, comfy sofas and designer wooden furnishings. Choose between an à la carte and a tasting menu – both of which offer flavour-packed, original and understated modern dishes." - Michelin Inspector

How Chefs Make 'Hygge' Foods High End

"Frank in Copenhagen has a savory æblskiver served with crème fraîche and caviar. Chef Christoffer Brink's version is very minimalistic and clean, served as an amuse bouche topped with Rogn caviar for a soft, warm, salty and doughy bite all at once." - Marisel Salazar

"Frank is a restaurant offering a blend of French and Danish cuisine. While it provides an option for a multi-course tasting menu, guests can also opt for a more relaxed bistro experience with snacks and wine, making it suitable for both formal and casual dining." - Coolstuff Team

Great Michelin recommended restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen. The food was mostly very good, but quite a few dishes were a bit too sour to our liking. Definitely leans more towards experimental. The insanely good bread and the duck canneloni were more than enough to make up for it however.

This restaurant was odd. The food to service ratio was like nowhere else I've ever been. The quality of food was amazing. Everything we had was absolutely terrific. The service however was beyond awful and so strange for a restaurant serving this quality food. -wine glasses piled up and sat empty on our table. At one point a waiter hesitated to clear it, instead asking is if it was there because we were waiting for a new glass of wine. The empty glass had sat there for a good 30 minutes at this point. -no refill of water -terrible pacing of the meal. Dessert alone took 30 minutes to arrive. Other courses took nearly as long while others rolled out immediately. This appeared true at other tables nearby. -the waiter forgot to clean up a dirty napkin from the table beside us after the party left. A new party was seated at this table and the new guest didn't realize the mishap. They went ahead and sat on the stained napkin from the previous guest which I assume stayed there for the entire length of their dinner. -not a single apology for anything . I understand the waiters aren't working for tips like they may be in the States, so perhaps there is less invested effort on their part. But management needs to show some respect for their guests who are spending hundreds of dollars for a decent dining experience by properly training their staff. All that said, would I come back? Yes, because the food was that damn good.

I came to Frank with high expectations, but it didn’t quite deliver. Some dishes were genuinely good, especially the pork and the Gillardeau oyster. However, others missed the mark. The fried oyster was boring, and the side salad was far too salty. The restaurant promotes itself as Asian fusion inspired, but as someone Asian, I didn’t find anything particularly new or exciting. Many reviews mention bold and unique flavors, but I have to disagree. Overall, a 3-star experience for me. On top of that, the service felt cold. The staff member who looked after our table wasn’t friendly and made us feel a bit left out, which added to the overall disappointment. A 3-star experience for me.

We had a lovely dinner at Frank this evening. I strongly recommend this place for a relaxed, long dinner with excellent food and a cosy atmosphere. We loved every single dish - we honestly can’t fault any one. We really enjoyed the staff as well - extremely efficient and kind. Can’t wait to return :)

The food was absolutely delicious and the service staff very warm and friendly! We both had the set menu and tried each of the three types of oysters. All of the dishes were gorgeous. In addition to the set menu we had the cod dish and it was so worth an additional main. The wine list was exceptional and we had a great evening dining here

Interesting dishes but nothing wowed me. Their bread was freshly baked and tasty, but I already forgot the rest of the dishes :/ Staff very friendly though!

Food is awesome — probably the best quality/price ratio we’ve seen in Copenhagen. Especially the fish dishes were terrific. Wine menu leaves much to be desired on the other hand. Stick to wine card. Service was also quite good and fast. Overall — a great place to spend an evening and not be disappointed/broke in the morning.

Yelp
Fantastic experience. We managed to snag a reservation at the last minute and it was the highlight dinner of our Europe trip. The Iberico pork is amazing. The sauce was incredible. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Copenhagen
