Absolutely great. The food (ex. REAL Wienerschnitzel), the service, the location (right near the lake) - easily one of the very best places to be in Lucerne. Highly recommended!

Great service, good choice on the menu, great view! The quality of the meal is superb, well presented, and served at the perfect temperature. The service from the waiter is timely, personal, and professional. It is discreet and also attentive. You are NOT "sold to" so are comfortable ordering what you want and therefore willing to return again and again. I liked it - it may be that the group of diners I was with made this a brilliant time, but the service facilitated that too. The potato salad is goid the appel strudel is divine. I would definitely have this to share especially if out together, dining as a couple. I would definitely return

A most delicious Austrian restaurant with superb service and decor!

Authentic Vienna style cusine served with a smile. Spend the afternoon on the patio right next to the lake, watching people passing by and enjoy a truly amazing piece of cherry crumble pie. The menue offers a selection of viennese classics from "Wiener Schnitzel" to "Kaiserschmarrn". Every dish is a small celebration of austrian hospitality. Charming!

Of all my reviews to restaurants this is the worst one. Tourist/ Tour coordinators / Asians / Guest should read this to avoid potential unpleasant experience. This is the POOREST QUALITY OF SERVICE AND POTENTIALLY RACIST restaurant's staff we have ever experienced in a 5-star hotel restaurant in Switzerland. ASIANS BEWARE! And should take caution when dining here. The staff, particularly the female manager, displayed potential racist behavior. They lit the lights of the umbrellas of non-Asian guests while leaving our Asian group in the dark. When we questioned them about this, they insisted that the lights in our umbrella were broken without even checking on it, so they probably knew. So We wonder why they did not inform us or make alternative arrangements if this was already known beforehand since they did not tell us it is broken from the start. When we suggested moving inside the restaurant as it was well-lit and empty (as shown in a picture), they refused to allow us, despite no other patrons / customers being present. Consequently, we had to wait and eat in the dark while other guests on different umbrellas had lights and is looking at us making our group embarrased. To make matters worse, one server accused us of being late as the reason for the lack of lighting. Is that right? even though the reservation is for dinner? This accusation was astonishing, as restaurants should normally prioritize customer satisfaction and resolve issues rather than creating more problems. This indicated a poor level of service. And if we truly were that late, why was our food not prepared and why did we have to wait over 40 minutes for the main course? The staff claimed and changed their argument and said that they are understaffed, but if that was the case, why didn't they prepare in advance when it is already been paid for and reserved? Why did they not communicate to tell us that they won't be able able to serve us well and cancel the reservation? We would have appreciated and understood their situation better if they had provided clear communication in such a scenario. Summary: - Poorest quality of service and potentially racist behavior observed - Staff lit lights for non-Asian guests but left Asian group in the dark - When questioned, staff claimed lights in Asian group's umbrella were broken without checking it. - They did not inform us beforehand when they already knew about the broken lights. - Request to move inside to the well-lit and empty restaurant was denied. - Waited over 40 minutes for the main course - Fake Apology base on the way the girl manager speaks. She is also arroant and claims it is a special experience. Owner of the restaurant please do something about this as your location and food are great but it is tarnish by this way of treatment to Asian people. Thank you

Love the interior, quite happy with my wiener schnitzel, my friend has tafelspitz, which is good, but I‘m surprised with their dessert, I don‘t find the dessert was great, the only dessert that is ok at that time was the windbeutel.

Lovely Restaurant at the lakeside. We enjoyed a great breakfast with Capucchino, fresh juice, different breads, honey, a fruit plate and scrambled eggs. The service person was excellent and very kind - will be back soon...
