Restaurante Frisone

This is a true dining extravaganza! With a group of friends we had the 12 course taster menu, which included a wide range of dishes through starters to main dishes to desserts, with each course matched with an appropriate wine. All ingredients & wines are locally sourced! This is not just a meal, its an experience, with each course served on a unique plate, platter, or bowl, & cutlery unique for each course.

We were off to a good start, the waiter didn’t speak much English, but was very nice and we managed to communicate with our broken Spanish. Beautiful presentation and generally well-executed dishes, but disappointed with the handling of a hygiene issue - a live caterpillar was found on a steak tartare. While the waiter did replace the dish, the replacement lacked original garnishes, was prepared loudly in front of us in a way that felt performative, and no proper apology or goodwill gesture was offered. For a restaurant listed on the Michelin app, I expected a higher level of service recovery.

Very pleased with the food, the service and the selection of wine.. Paco has been great, very friendly service and he's been very knowledgeable over wine. The place is luxurious but doesn't come across as pretentious as other luxury restaurants. Good to see we have a good restaurant like Frisone in Elche. If you want something different than a regular Spanish tapas bar and their standard menus, Frisone can definitely offer us something different with a good service and food. We had three starters, one main, bottle of white wine (very good), two digestives a desert and the bill came around €100 for two people! Definitely worth it! Here comes the million dollar question: Will I go there again? 100% yes!

We were blessed enough to have two meals in this amazing restaurant while visiting Spain. It was the most impressive dining experience of our lives. The chef is truly amazing and a brilliant culinary artist. No detail was forgotten from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The staff are so welcoming and treat you like family. Frisone is a piece of art in this beautiful country.

Wow, what an amazing restaurant. The chef here is a wizard who creates magic in his kitchen. Every course was 10/10 and for the level in quality I thought the pricing was reasonable.

Good service and a nicely fitted out restaurant. Some dishes were very good but some were so bad we had to send them back. Difficult to find. Will we go back absolutely not.

Fantastic food and service
