The Best Restaurants in Northeast Philly | Eater Philly

"Among the numerous Eastern European offerings in Northeast Philadelphia, Georgian cuisine has been rapidly growing. Located in the building formerly occupied by Cafe Lava, Gamarjoba stands out for its size and outdoor patio — open all year round and heated in the winter. Well known for their baked goods and breads, the khachapuri ajaruli (cheese boat) is a must have in Georgian cuisine as well as their walnut stuffed peppers. For Uzbek, Suzani Restaurant on Welsh Road — with its patchwork tapestry ceiling — should also be on your list." - Sarah Maiellano

One of the best restaurants we have ever been to (and we are quite the foodies). The food was absolutely amazing!! It was our first time trying Georgian food and first time there. The ambience was great from the moment we walked in, service was wonderful, food was just incredible. I highly recommend it!!!

I've passed this restaurant a few times but never really paid too much attention. Went here for a work dinner and wow! The food was outstanding. I've never had Georgian food before but I am a huge fan based on this dining experience. Moderately priced, but well worth it for the quality of food and the service that you get. The wait staff was super helpful and helping us to choose the right foods. Really like that they had an online menu with pictures of each dish so you knew what you were ordering. Looking for an opportunity to come back again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – A Hidden Gem of Georgian Hospitality and Flavor! Gamarjoba Beer Garden is a true culinary treasure! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm Georgian hospitality that makes you feel instantly at home. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, with a charming outdoor space perfect for relaxing with friends over a cold pint and hearty food. Now let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal. Every dish bursts with authentic flavor. The khinkali (Georgian dumplings) were perfectly juicy and seasoned, and the khachapuri was warm, cheesy perfection. The grilled meats were tender and richly spiced, and the variety of traditional sides added great balance to the meal. Everything tasted like it was made with love and tradition. The beer selection is a standout feature. Whether you’re a fan of lagers, IPAs, or something more unique, there’s something here for everyone. Plus, they carry Georgian brews you won’t easily find elsewhere—refreshing, flavorful, and the perfect pairing for the bold cuisine. Service was attentive and friendly, with staff happy to recommend dishes and explain the origins of ingredients or cooking methods. You can tell the team here really cares about sharing Georgian culture through their food and drink. If you’re looking for something beyond the usual pub fare and want a meal that’s both comforting and exciting, Gamarjoba Beer Garden should be at the top of your list. I’ll absolutely be back—and bringing more friends with me next time! Gamarjoba! 🍻🇬🇪

Every time I visit this restaurant, I feel like I’m in Tbilisi! The atmosphere, the spices, and the incredible flavors always impress me. My absolute favorite dishes are the Adjarian khachapuri, khinkali, kharcho, and the salad with an unbelievably delicious walnut dressing. As always, we left very happy and satisfied.

Gamarjoba – A Taste of Georgia, and a Feeling of Home” Gamarjoba isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience that brings the warmth, flavors, and heart of Georgia to life. My wife and I visit often, and every time feels like a little trip to Tbilisi without leaving the city. Let’s talk food — the khinkali are juicy and perfectly seasoned, each one bursting with authentic Georgian flavor. The lamb chops are beautifully grilled — crispy on the outside, tender and rich inside. And the khachapuri… simply unforgettable. Every bite is warm, cheesy comfort with a golden crust. The menu is filled with classic Georgian dishes, and not once have we been disappointed. But what truly sets Gamarjoba apart is the staff. I have a special bond with David the bartender, who’s always welcoming and genuine. Giorgiy, Natia, Irakli, and manager Irakli — they all treat me and my wife not like customers, but like old friends. Even those whose names I don’t know treat us with such kindness — it honestly feels like being among colleagues or family. If you’re looking for flavorful food and heartfelt hospitality, Gamarjoba is where you’ll find it. ⸻ 👉 Highly recommended for a cozy night out, especially with someone you love.

Google
We had the khinkali and Adjaruli khachapuri, and honestly, we were blown away. Georgian cuisine in the U.S. is usually just okay or a bit off — but this place absolutely nailed it. Everything tasted just like it should, no shortcuts, no strange tweaks — just real, authentic flavors done right. The food was incredible, the service was warm and respectful, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I genuinely enjoyed every part of the experience and will definitely be recommending Gamarjoba to my friends. It’s rare to find a Georgian restaurant here that gets it right — but this one does. A must-visit.

Yelp
The food was good. The price was not so good. We had: Eggplant and walnut rolls: This was delicious. The combination of creamy eggplant, rich walnuts, and tart pomegranate seeds hit perfectly. Kharcho (a spicy beef and tomato stew) was just perfect. As good as the best versions I've had in Russia. Lamb Khinkali (dumplings) were just ok. Could have used a little more juice. Adjaruli Khachapuri (the famous Georgian bread bowl filled with melted cheese and topped with butter and egg) was very tasty, but the cheese wasn't as deep and the bread wasn't as thick as I'm used to. Shkmeruli (chicken in a cream sauce) was disappointing. Very little flavor and the chicken was dry inside. Ridiculously priced at $30. Service was a bit weird (no fewer than 4 people asked us if we had ordered) but our main waiter was very nice. Whatever they're doing with this random 15% service charge should stop. Either make it 18% and have it cover tip or drop it. I liked the atmosphere. It seems like it would be a nice place to drink too much beer for hours. Edit: I had the leftover chicken the next day and it tasted better. It was still not worth $30 plus a random 15%.

Yelp
My nail tech referred me to this place today because I told her that I love trying other cultures food. Parking a private lot on the side of the building. I ordered take away. The do have a restaurant and bar. Atmosphere: it's a small area to pick up food so it's quiet. The woman who was there whenI picked my food up was nice. They offer garlic, tomatoes, cucumbers and more in brine. They have sauces of different spice level. They offer different type of preserves. I could make out Figs and strawberry. Georgian drinks are offered too!!!! I was like a kid in the candy store!!! I only purchased garlic in brine but I will be back!! The items were reasonably priced too!!! OK ok now that I'm done with their awesome homemade items, the food. My nail tech suggested the following: 1:Eggplant with walnuts: it was cold. It was eggplant folded with a Walnut paste that had herbs and garlic in it topped with pomegranates. Looking at it, I thought I would not like it but omg!!!! This was my favorite!!!! 2:Khachapuri "Imeruli" which is theory version of a pizza. It's a fluffy piece of dough with cheese stuffed in it. The cheese was mild and delicious! Who knew bread and cheese warmed could taste this good!! This was my second favorite! 3: Dumpling: I didn't care for this. It lacked flavor. Overall I enjoyed my food and I can't wait to go back!!

Yelp
If you're looking for delicious, traditional Georgian food then come to Gamarjoba. We came on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and were seated right away. Everyone was so so good. Even the chicken nuggets my daughter for were crispy and seemed like they were freshly breaded and fried. The khachaluri was cheesy and flaky and the khinkali melt in your mouth. Can't wait to go back

Yelp
The directions took us to the other side of the restaurant which was not the parking area. We finally got to the smaller street where parking was and I didn't think it was correct since about 5 men were outside by a door, smoking. We drove around and back to the parking area and parked after realizing they were hanging out by the entrance. After walking through the door, one man from the group was saying something to us but we didn't understand. We were seated and ordered. The food came out pretty quickly. Everything was great. The service was ok. Once the food was dropped off, it was hard to get anyone to get us boxes when we finished eating. We ate the leftovers the next day and the food was even better. I loved the food and may never eat there again but maybe we can order takeout (if it's available).

Yelp
I drive past this restaurant daily for years and have never visited. This weekend, I had the chance to! Ive never had Georgian food before and was unsure of what to expect. But, I'm so glad I tried it. The bread was phenomenal and I definitely ate 3/4 of it by myself. Service was very attentive and friendly, especially being as though I was unsure of what to order and she provided a breakdown for me. So helpful! On top of the food, this place was a total vibe. The beer garden is a nice touch. We didn't have a reservation to sit in the main dining area and it was truly packed! People were dancing and having a great time. The only negative is it's really hard to have a conversation since it's soooo loud! Other than that, everything was great and I'm glad I gave it a try!

Yelp
***FAIR WARNING. PRICES SHOWN ON MENUS HERE ARE ON YELP ARE OUTDATED AND THE PRICES LISTED FOR EACH DISH ARE AT LEAST $2-3 HIGHER*** Delicious food when seated at the beer garden. You can NOT sit in the main dining room without an existing reservation, but the beer garden was honestly a very pleasant, open vibe that was more to my taste. I ordered a bottle of the semi-sweet red wine (delicious) but also sampled the white variety of this same brand and it was a light, delicious, crisp wine with a very mellow and enjoyable flavor, but I opted for this equally delicious red to pair with the meat selections of the entrees. For a party of 3 with 3 entrees (refer to photos), 2 appetizers and a bottle of wine, the bill before tip was ~$126. The beets with walnut was so fresh and minty with a lovely texture. The cheese boat was the favorite of the night! The kebab was super tasty! The dumplings were juicy and full of flavor and spice the was nicely complimented by the texture of the dumpling noodle. The beef stew was a bit more spicy than expected. I recommend asking them to hold the jalapeño if you aren't one for a bit of added heat. Service was EXTREMELY attentive... sometimes a bit quick to clear a napkin from that table that wasn't quite ready to be collected, but that's definitely better than the alternative. The atmosphere was fresh, space was clean and music was elevated to make the overall experience relaxed but fun. Overall, giving 4 out of 5 stars simply because the prices seem a bit more than they should be when compared to other local, comparable venues. I recommend going with a party and doing a family style to truly experience the variety of what they have to offer. Lunch menus are always 15% off the dinner menu price but they don't offer a military discount (if that's something you want to know in advance).

Yelp
Gamarjoba is tucked away just off Bustleton Ave with easy parking You enter into the main dining room which has comfortable rustic wooden tables and chairs giving a pleasant clean open air feeling, and even though the dining room was busy it was not super noisy . My server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was quite helpful suggesting items to try and pair together. I had Kinkali lamb dumplings and added the Tkemali red sauce, delicious Kubdari, chicken Mtsavadi, Lamb Lulu kabab. Total splurge Napoleon for dessert . Beer was (? ) Georgian but really a great compliment to the meal. They gave me boxes for my extra food which was easy to carry home and reheated well the next day. Good people, welcoming and the food all fresh made was hot and delicious from the stove and oven. I am definitely coming back

Yelp
I'm far from an expert on Georgian food but what we had was delicious and better than what we had tried at another close-by Georgian restaurant. There were 3 of us and so we had a chance to sample a few items. The Eggplant with Walnuts was very good. Maybe the winner of the night however was the Khachapure Adjaruli or Cheese Boat. A mix of various cheeses and an egg yoke is surrounded by freshly baked bread. Tato our friendly and fun server instructed us to break the yolk and mix it with the cheese. She then said to tear off pieces of the bread and dip it into the cheese - amazing! The Khinkali Kalakuri or Georgian Dumplings with Beef and Pork are eaten by picking them up by the knob and biting into the dumpling towards the top. There is a mixture of meat and spices as well as a sauce inside so lean over your plate in case some of the sauce flows out! The Lamb Kebab was very good as was the Chanakhi or Lamb Stew, although there were more vegetables than lamb in the stew. The Chicken Chqmeruli - Chicken in a creamy garlic sauce - was both different and delicious. We asked when we called if it was a BYO and were told yes. We brought beer and they served it with no problem but we saw that they now are serving beer and wine so I would call to see if you can still bring your own. With tax and tip (the 15% tip automatically put on the bill) came to around $125. A fun place to return to.

Yelp
Was referred to this place by fellow Yelper Gerald S. Initially entered the main dining room which was bustling on a Sunday afternoon. Guy at door told us to go around to the "beer garden" entrance which is a large sunny room with a bar. Much quieter, altho I suspect it perks up later. The menu is in English, Georgian and Russian. We ordered a fantastic Khachapuri Imeruli, a very rich gooey cheese pizza type concoction between layers of pastry; Khinkali lamb stew with tomatoes and vegetables served in a black pot which was savory. I had dumplings (Chanakhi) which were stuffed with very beautifully seasoned ground lamb. Also got a nice fresh Greek salad. The temptation is great to order too much food as it is very rich. Upon being seated we requested water. We were brought two bottles of water. This irks me, as I find tap water is perfectly fine and don't want to pay $2 a bottle for water. Plus I hate plastic bottles. I seem to run into this trend lately and it's a silly one. I probably could have asked for tap water instead but didn't want to start off on a complaint right off the bat. However, when the bill came, there was no charge for the water! Go figger. Still...plastic. Service quick and friendly. Bathrooms clean. Free parking.

Yelp
Georgian cheese might be my new favorite cheese! The Khachapuri with Bacon was delicious!! We finished the whole thing so quickly. Highly recommend. The ribeye kebab was tender and flavorful. The Shqmeruli was perfectly tender chicken in a butter cream sauce. Everything was so good we plan to come back next week to explore the other menu items. Thank you!

Yelp
I absolutely love this authentic Georgian restaurant. The food is amazing. Anything I've tried delicious. I recommend trying Khinkali, Khacharuri and Lobiani. Amazing atmosphere inside.

Yelp
Great service, I come here often the service is amazing, shout out to Natia. She's so welcoming and wonderful. I hope I get her name right. Beautiful atmosphere, the food is delicious.

Yelp
Amazing Georgian cuisine. There aren't many restaurants in northeast with similar quality, consistency and unique flavor such as this establishment provides. Always a treat to visit Gamarjoba. Must haves are khinkali, khachapuri and cold apps.

Kimberly K.

Yelp
My friend and I like exploring different cuisines so we decided to give this place a try. It was a very nice place, with nice people, and pretty good food. However, the following two issues pretty much cemented our resolve never to return. I ordered a roast chicken. I was amazed at the puny portion sizes. In fact, if it wasn't for the bread, they gave us (for an additional three dollars) I would have left as hungry as when I came. As it was, I had to have dinner when I got home. My second issue, was the bill when they brought it around. Not only was the chicken severely overpriced ($24) thrre was a service charge of eight dollars, and an additional operating fee of two dollars, along with a line to input the tip. All in all we dropped close to $70 and discussed how we wish we had just gone to Arby's instead.

Lara T.

Yelp
Our servers (Natia and I think her name was Anna) were great about making recommendations and explaining different things to try as we had never tried Georgian food before. we had made reservations and one of group had a birthday and they wherever kind and helped make her night special. Loved the, food, served timely. Would definitely go again and try other dishes, too.

Susan S.

Yelp
Surprisingly good restaurant. Like entering another world...customers look very Eastern European. They are unfairly gracious. Kabobs good. Mushroom soup outstanding. Georgian bread very well baked. Would order thin bread with cheese the next time we come. BYOB plus bar. Lamb dumplings okay, not great. Tomato and onion salad nice; grilled veggies terrific. We are definitely going to return. Dinner for 4 without alcohol or dessert about $170 before tip.

Yelp
Gamarjoba is a Republic of Georgia eatery on Bustleton Avenue in the far Northeast Philadelphia. It is the latest of a series of restaurants at that location and we should hope that it has the legs to persevere and thrive. The dining room is nicely appointed, with the Georgia coat of arms on the wall as you walk in. Everyone there speaks Russian or English, and of course the native tongue of the homeland. We ordered Ajapsandali as an appetizer (cold tomato, potato and green pepper in a semi spicy base), Lamb Mtsvadi (kebab with interesting onion garnish) and Chicken Chqmeruli (small roasted breast/wing in a terrific garlic reduction). The app was excellent with uniquely spiced sauce that was addictive, and enhance when placed on the outstanding bread for robust bite and grind. The lamb was cooked beyond our medium finish and lacked the juiciness desired, but still decent (the reason for 4 out of 5 Stars). The prize of the show was the chicken, which appeared the size of squabs, was moist and tender and covered in delicious white garlic finish. We found ourselves scooping up the gravy with the awesome bread; it was that good. Service was friendly and informative. This was our first go with Georgian cuisine and we appreciated the explanations and suggestions offered by our server. Bread is provided with an extra charge, but well worth the money. It is wonderful. Parking along the side of the building is easy to miss, so drive slowly as you approach on Bustleton so you can safely make the turn.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere and tons of natural light. Really refreshing place to eat at. The service is great; everything came out fast, the waitresses are nice and helpful. Khinkali Lamb: 4/5 Pretty solid dish. Super juicy; good flavors. Khachapuri Adjaruli (cheese boat) 3/5: very rich, heavy, and delicious. The bread itself is well made. The only issue was it was too salty. Shqmeruli: 5/5 likely my favorite dish! Super creamy and rich sauce that paired well with the well cooked chicken! It would be nice if the sauce was added at the table instead cause there is no crisp ones to the chicken. Ostri: 5/5 delicious tender beef that falls apart in your mouth. Easily one of the best dishes. Imeruli Kupati: 3.5/5 a little bit too salt but love how aromatic the sausage is. Tiramisu: 4/5 Solid tiramisu and not too swee Pistachio Ricotta Cake: 3/5: decent cake. Flavors meld ok. Could be a little sweeter. Pistachio flavors are a little off. Overall: service is great and the food is ok. Majority of the dishes were too salty. This is coming from someone that love salt and vinegar chips and salted fish. 100% be ready for a food coma after due to all the salt.

Yelp
My family and I recently visited town for a wedding, and our local relatives took us out for a Georgian meal on a Monday. As we entered the restaurant, I was immediately impressed by the ambiance--grapes hung gracefully above us, creating a charming entrance. Inside, the atmosphere was dimly lit yet inviting and pleasant. On a hot and humid day, I was delighted to discover a refreshing pink juice drink that was simply delicious. (we kept asking for more.) We ordered an abundance of food, and I must say, it was so much that I could barely breathe! (Especially after a wedding...) Each dish was not only plentiful but also incredibly tasty. The staff was exceptionally friendly, ensuring that our food arrived fresh and promptly. Everything was beautifully presented, and every bite was a delight. I can confidently say that I would return to this lovely spot the next time I'm in town!

Yelp
Went for dinner with our family & had a nice dinner until the check came!!! We were charged $43.95 for a service charge on a $292.00 check plus a $10.94 operating charge & then taxes brought the check to $372.00!! I questioned the server on the service charge & this was not the gratuity!! The charges were for health care, pay supplements & increased food costs!!! WHAT?!?!? The servers only got a little bit from there!!! I was still expected to tip my server, which I did because it wasn't her fault!!! That is totally outrageous & should be illegal!!! I will never go back there!!! Buyer beware!!!

Dave B.

Yelp
Elegant? no....Very good food? Yup! Service was excellent, all of the wait staff was friendly and attentive! We have never had Georgian food before, and wife and I went for date night. The staff was patient and enthusiastic about helping us understand the food, and what was authentic. We were very pleased with our selection, with the help of our waitress, Tina! Yes, highly recommend, we will be back...see you there!

Serzh M.

Yelp
The food was of average quality. It's not surprising. But I was very upset by the receipt, which contains some incomprehensible additional services and %. (+20%). For such a price, they ate much better in another restaurant. We and our friends will not return there anymore.

Eugene B.

Yelp
Stopped here for dinner on May 24. We've ordered ostri, shish kebab and lobio with walnuts. Everything was fine until I bit on something hard in the lobio which appeared to be a couple small pebbles. Luckily no damage was caused to my teeth. According to the restaurant management, the pebbles came from the walnuts that they use for making the walnut lobio. The manager did apologize and offer a dish replacement/free desert, however I've lost my appetite after this accident and didn't accept their offer. They did remove the dish from our check though. Hope they will ensure safe work practices in the future.

Yelp
Best khachapuri we've had in AGES! Service was friendly. Prices? Very reasonable. Music was a bit loud, granted, but, still, five Yelp stars!

Yelp
***Review of Take Out Orders Only*** We have gotten several menu items over several different take out orders. Stand out items are the khinkali, adjaruli, the stuffed eggplant rolls, and the kharcho soup. Everything was fresh, well made and we enjoyed it. There is a separate entrance for pick up orders so you do not have to wait in the front of the restaurant which is nice.

Yelp
We came from Texas to visit friends and ordered a Georgian size "Supra" since we haven't had Georgian food in over a decade. They were so accommodating by asking how long we had to drive before preparing the frozen khinkali at our friend's home and game us a large bucket filled with ice to ensure the quality remained. The food was amazing! Pkhali, eggplant with walnuts, traditional salad, lamb khinkali (our friend is Australian and a self proclaimed lamb-snob and said that's the best lamb she's ever had) we got a variety of khachapuri and by the end of the meal we felt like we were back in Georgia. So close to authentic! Our friends are now bringing their friends to this beautiful location that has plenty of room and different levels of comfort, from casual to romantic to formal. You do not want to miss out on this... it's worth the drive. Honestly it's worth the FLIGHT to go back there!

Yelp
Had 13 people in our party. Our meal was pre-ordered by the matriarch of my husband's family. Service was friendly and fast. Settings were changed with different courses. We started with lavash and assorted pkhali, assorted pickled vegetables and a spring salad with oranges and burrata. - I would say the spinach with walnuts was the best and paired well with the lavash. But the salad was fantastic too. Our second course was some sort of cheese pie? I think it was khachapuri... it doesn't look like the one featured in the menu but that's what my in-laws called it. And we also had the cheese pot with mushrooms and tomatoes - both of those cheesy overloads were fantastic! The entree was pork, lamb, and salmon kabobs and lamb lollipops. It's important to ask for the meat medium rare. Otherwise it will come well done. - lamb and salmon was my favorite. Husband ordered a bowl of "hash?" Soup... he doesn't recommend it. Not enough salt, pepper, and garlic. But that's not - this is a side note but not factored into my review since I didn't have any and can't comment.

Yelp
The food very tasty and good but the place is not so clean specially the bathroom one stole

Yelp
The food was amazing, the app trio & cheese boat were divine! The whole bronzino was nicely done, love that you can byob, will definitely go back.

Yelp
Such a great authentic restaurant! We had late lunch on Sunday with a group of friends! From the time we opened the door we were greeted with a smile and felt welcomed! Food was amazing! Superb service! Very nice environment and decor. We are visitor from out of town and highly recommend this place to anyone!

Yelp
Went for lunch on a weekday. Unlike most restaurants in the area it has a liquor license and they have a surprisingly good draft beer. We had the cold vegetable appetizer- eggplant, beet etc with walnuts. ( Flaki?).It's very good. We also had lamb dumplings, chicken with garlic and milk, veal stew with tarragon and lamb lula kebab. This was followed by espresso and pistachio ricotta cheese cake and special dessert ( pear, pomegranate seeds etc). Service was good. Prices reasonable. Parking is a little confusing. It's on the side and back. Highly recommended!

Yelp
As of today, August 1, their website was down. We had hoped to make reservations for my wife's birthday and/or our anniversary and hope it is not closed. It is/was just a delicious place and hoping it's not closed.

Yelp
Had a really good time at Georgian Bakery & Cafe just a couple of days ago. The place is pretty large, with tables spread far part - which is helpful during Covid times. We called to make a last minute reservation, but it the restaurant was pretty empty. We ordered a few appetizers, which included the khachapuri (two different types including adjarian), lubiani, some eggplant dishes and some traditional cheese dishes. Everything was delicious. I also tried soup kharcho which was a bit bland in my opinion,  kebob as well as the lamb shish cabob. Both were excellent. The lamb shish kabob had pretty large pieces that were cooked to perfection. I would definitely come again to try more dishes.

Yelp
Food was delicious Good service--ever item clearly described Plenty of room to have private conversations

Yelp
Just a gem If you are passing by certainly worthy of a few minutes of course. Great ambience, expert service. Must have Adjaruly Hachapuri, - Georgian style pizza, best I've ever had!

Yelp
We made reservations at this BYOB Georgian restaurant in far northeast restaurant. Reservations were not required. We started our meal with a bread dish that was filled with an egg and a fantastic cheese. We sliced the bread after we mixed the cheese and egg together. It was very good and an excellent way to begin our meal. Our table ordered duck, a lamb stew which could have had more lamb in it and fish entree. It was all very good and worth a second visit. The menu is written in English and Russian and Georgian. Our waitress was an absolute pleasure!

Yelp
Only a handful of reviews and none give New Georgian the proper respect. First off, LOOK AT THESE PICTURES!!! LOOK AT THEM!!! So it's a restaurant and bakery. Which I assume means they make a significant amount of bread products from scratch, which is a plus in my book. All of the negative reviews and complaints about this place seem to revolve around its delivery. I'm philosophically opposed to delivery since it deprives one of the dining experience and promotes laziness against home-cooking. Coupled with the bad reviews, suffice to say, don't get delivery from here (or anywhere for that matter). Ultimately though, if you haven't had Georgian food before, it amounts to a mix between Eastern European, Middle Eastern, Chinese, and cheesy bread. Sound like it's hard to imagine? Because it's hard to describe. Just come and taste for yourself and have your taste buds be amazed!

Yelp
I've ordered from here before (about five times), and the hot shrimp and the dumplings are delicious. I ordered the lamb shawarma tonight and it just wasn't good. The flavors were good but the meat was so tough I couldn't eat it. The French fries were good. I'm sad, I was really looking forward to trying something new.

Yelp
This restaurant is the place to visit with friends and family, not just for its great structure, but also its delicious Georgian food. I took a friend there to eat and we will never forget the pleasure of eating there. The food was very good and so was the customer service. From the time we entered to the time we waved goodbye, we felt like being with friends! Alex, the manager, spares nothing to make customers feel welcome!!

Yelp
Best georgian cuisine restaurant in the city! Definitely would recommend the place to all my friends. Their khachapuri and khinkali are the best!

Yelp
A few years back my boyfriend had read an article about Georgian food, the exciting flavors, and some dishes that were a must try. We went ahead and went to try some of these suggestions, and wow. I just don't know how I went so long in life never trying this kind of food. We have since been to a few different Georgian spots, though this location and ambience are definitely my favorite. A couple years ago they added this fabulous outdoor dining area, that became a great option when many restaurants were limited from covid. My absolute favorite dish is the Khinkali; lamb or beef, both are absolutely delicious. I enjoy the different apps, cheese breads, meats, and potatoes, but I definitely come for the khinkali oh and the Georgian "lemonade" (more of a sweet carbonated drink, very yummy). If you're with a group, I suggest ordering a few different menu items to share, and you won't be disappointed. This is definitely a must try spot in Northeast Philly.

Yelp
Unfortunately, the quality is inconsistent: often enough they serve kebab overcooked. Sometimes badly overcooked.

Yelp
This is our second time dining at this restaurant and the food is amazing! Everything is very tasty and fresh. Waitresses are friendly and helpful. We are usually so busy eating that we forget to take pictures of food, hahaha. But our favorite dishes so far are: khinkali with lamb, lulya kebab, mushroom soup, chicken with garlic sauce, hachipuri and fresh salad with walnut dressing! Will try more dishes next time we are in the area. This is hands down our favorite spot to grab a bite whenever we are in Pennsylvania!
