"Jip, Yelle and Jesse Goyvaerts have set up shop in the heart of Eindhoven, in Domusdela, a converted church that has retained its serenity. Inside, the modern decor with Scandinavian touches works well – the wine cabinet is sure to draw the eye. The brothers conjure up creative dishes incorporating international influences, the finesse of French cuisine and Japanese seasonings. Think celeriac glazed with soy sauce in a vegetarian concoction with delicate sweet/salty/spicy nuances. Goyvaerts is a name that is synonymous with culinary excellence!" - Michelin Inspector

My recent dinner at Restaurant Goyvaerts in Eindhoven was nothing short of extraordinary. I went for the 6-course tasting menu with wine pairing, and it turned into an unforgettable culinary journey. Every course told its own story, with the chef demonstrating both technique and creativity. The pacing was perfect — enough time between courses to appreciate each flavor without feeling rushed or overly full. Highlights included a beautifully delicate fish dish and a slow-cooked meat course that melted in the mouth. The wines chosen to accompany each plate were cleverly matched; the sommelier provided concise but insightful explanations, making the experience even more engaging. It showed that the restaurant values harmony between food and wine as much as presentation. Service was attentive and personable, and the staff clearly took pride in their work. The atmosphere struck a fine line between elegant and relaxed, ideal for an evening of refined dining. By the end of the meal, I felt as though I had genuinely experienced something crafted with passion from start to finish. Goyvaerts is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why dining out can be such a joy. I’ll absolutely return for another tasting menu soon.

An amazing experience again at Goyvaerts! This was our 5th time here and it exceeded our past expectations of our last visits. Every dish, every gesture was absolute perfection and we appreciated every bit of it! Me and my husband tried many fine dining and michelin starred restaurants but they still fall short to this one. Goyvaerts is our nr 1! It is really worth every penny and they provide so much more as a customer.

Dining at Goyvaerts in Eindhoven was an absolute delight from start to finish. I opted for the six-course tasting menu with wine pairing, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Each dish was beautifully plated and creatively balanced — a perfect combination of local ingredients, modern techniques, and bold yet elegant flavors. The menu flowed seamlessly, from the delicate seafood starter to the rich, perfectly cooked meat course, and finally a light, refreshing dessert. The wine pairing was exceptional; each glass complemented the dish it accompanied without ever overpowering it. The sommelier clearly put a lot of thought into the selections and explained each pairing with genuine enthusiasm. The service was warm, professional, and never intrusive — the team managed to strike that ideal balance of attentiveness and relaxation. The ambiance at Goyvaerts also added to the experience: refined but not pretentious, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that made the evening feel special. This was easily one of the best fine dining experiences I’ve had in Eindhoven. I would highly recommend the 6-course menu to anyone who wants to experience the full creative potential of the kitchen.

Delicious evening at Goyvaerts. The dishes all had a great taste, with only one (steak tartare) out of the seven courses being a little less, compared with the others, but still very tasty. The wines were all very nicely paired with the dishes, complimenting it in different ways. Now, what really brings down my evaluation is the service, both regarding the dishes and the wines. All the explanations were simply lacking. For the first course, the whole explanation of the dish was "radish". And that repeated with all following courses, with very brief explanations that didn't tell much at all of what we were eating. With the wines, we had even less, sometimes with the waiter only reading the name of the wine and leaving. There was no telling on the grapes, region, taste notes, why it was paired with the dish... and that for sure wasn't for a lack of time because of a busy night. It was a Tuesday with a total of 6 tables. All in all, a delicious evening, but an overall lacking experience.

From the moment we step into Goyvaerts, we know we’re in for a remarkable dining experience. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegance and warmth, with thoughtful decor that sets the tone for the evening. We love the attention to details from the leather napkin ring holder to the other decorations in the dinning room. The starters were a delightful burst of flavors, beautifully plated and perfectly seasoned. For the main course, we opted for the Turbot. The balance of flavors was exquisite, demonstrating the chef's skill and creativity. Dessert was a highlight with amazing presentations as well. Also, great wine pairings suggested by the knowledgeable staff. Service was impeccable! Xander was very attentive and knowledgeable, also with other staffs who are clearly passionate about the food and experience they provide. Overall, Goyvaerts is truly a culinary gem! It’s an experience that transcends mere dining into a world of flavor and artistry. We’d love to return here again.

We had an exceptional experience at this restaurant! The cozy and stylish interior design provided a perfect atmosphere, offering both privacy and comfort. The staff's excellent care, beautiful dishware, and mindful consideration of my allergies made the dining experience truly memorable. The food not only looked incredible but also exceeded tasting expectations. This restaurant deserves every bit of recognition as a star establishment.

We had a fantastic evening in this restaurant. We ordered a 5-course menu paired with wines. Everything from the beginning to the end was great. The staff was professional and helpful, and the food was real art but very tasty. Not to be missed if you are in Eindhoven.

We had a splendid day night in the Goyvaerts restaurant. The chef, Jesse, delighted us with a show as we were witnesses - front seats- to how he cooked and prepared all the dishes with so much care and conversation. His staff is truly amazing, the coziness of the restaurant is top notch, from the cutlery, the plating and the little details engraved in the napkins. This was a very nice dining experience to celebrate our anniversary, and we are happy with the choice. If I could give only one tiny remark: more dedication or preparation when it comes describing the wines. It’s like “this is a champagne from France” we already know that 😅, tell us more about the wine house or why it was paired with this dish etc. The wines were explained well, but could improve since the flavors were SPOT ON! I would come here again, I loved this restaurant. Thanks Jesse for your passion put into all of your customers and dishes.
