Restaurant franco-italien Il Cuoco Galante - Paris 9

During our Paris visit, we stumbled upon Il Cuoco Galante, the charming Italian sibling of our beloved Braisenville next door. Having fallen in love with Braisenville on previous trips, we thought—why not try its Italian counterpart for lunch? Sitting outside on the terrace, we enjoyed the sunshine, attentive service, and wonderfully prepared dishes. We ordered pasta and fish, sharing everything across the table as we always do, each bite confirming this was a gem worth discovering. A perfect blend of relaxed atmosphere and delicious flavors—highly recommended.

This Italian gem in the 9th arrondissement is undoubtedly one of my favorite places to dine. The food is consistently excellent, with obvious care put into the preparation and a clear focus on robust flavors—it's always delicious. The service matches the quality of the meals, with a friendly staff that makes every visit a pleasure. One highlight is the open kitchen, where guests can watch the chefs artfully crafting each dish. This place is a strong contender for the best Italian dining experience in the area. I highly recommend it, and will certainly keep coming back!

Very nice, Italian restaurant. But a bit too expensive for what it was. The lunch menu costs 20-30€ and while the dishes are nice by name, they do not stun away. They were solid good, but this is not what you expect in that price league. Service and ambience was superb and I will definitely come back again. And who knows, maybe the lunch menu of the day will convince then? Thank you and see you soon!

Excellent Italian restaurant, fresh pasta, delicious appetizers, great desserts. Such a nice find in a great neighborhood, sat outside and watched people while enjoying our dinner. The staff was terrific and kind as I tried to speak the best French I could, they were welcoming and understanding. Thanks for making our family experience a memorable one!

This was one of the best Italian places I've ever been to. The beef carpaccio with truffles was one of, if not the best things I've ever eaten. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and I loved all the wine recommendations the staff made. They were very nice, and spoke English, Italian, and French.

An Italian restaurant in a homely atmosphere. A good surprise. Each dish is prepared separately and on the spot. Do not prepare more than two dishes together.

Excellent Italian restaurant. Staff is friendly, cuisine is remarkable. The spinach ravioli and white truffle were extraordinary, thank you. Seat at the bar in front of the kitchen if you can!
