Restaurant Jueun

I keep my finger crossed for this restaurant to get Michelin Stars for Korean cuisine!Innovative but still keep local soul. Tasty, full of aroma and beautiful presentation. I love every single dishes in the course and I definitely come back whenever I visit Seoul. Love ❤️

To simply call Restaurant Jueun fine dining isn’t enough. This is food and service raised to an art. The curated daily menu leaves little room for confusion however complementary options are available to add. I rarely consume alcohol however allowed myself one of the spirits recommended and was grateful I did. Choreography of synchronized table service, impeccable attention to every detail and nuance of each person at the table. Oh yes…the food. The meal, served in small and medium courses over 1.5 or so hours, was a journey of culinary exploration and enlightenment. Every flavor was in place with texture and timing. I will be returning to Seoul at some time to experience this again. I cannot recommend more highly an experience with chef Jueun and his impeccable staff. Do yourself a favor and arrive 10 minutes early. Plan to give appropriate time for this meal. It is worth the planning. Reservations well in advance recommended.

Today's lunch was a very special experience, and I had an unforgettable meal at Jueun, a top-class Korean fine dining restaurant. The modern yet luxurious atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect for a date or to celebrate a special day. The date was printed on the menu, which gave a very detailed impression. In particular, the chef's special course stood out with its delicate plating and fresh seasonal ingredients for each menu. The Japchae was truly exquisite. It broke the stereotype of existing Japchae and was a traditional Korean Japchae without noodles, and the sesame oil flavor was more than enough to stimulate the appetite. The friendly service of the staff was also impressive. The alcohol was also recommended through pairing with the food, and it went well together. If you want a special experience for a special day, I highly recommend it. 전 한식 파인 다이닝이라는 신세계를 여기서 첨 봤어요. 진심 후회하지 않는 경험과 맛을 잊지 못할듯 합니다.

Best meal EVER in Seoul. We wanted traditional Korean tasting menu with a modern interpretation and all marks were hit. It was a phenomenal. Every course, every bite, every explanation, every moment was incredible. We come to Korea twice a year and can not wait to come back and taste their next seasonal menu.

a culinary gem in seoul. not on any awards list yet but i suspect it may be on it soon. do yourself a favour and book a meal here while tables are still within reach and without a long waitlist :)

Very satisfactory, just what we were looking for - a high end taste of Korean food! The staff were very professional and well taught. The food was very delicate, and the staff explained the meals very well, and in english as well! I forgot to take the pictures of a few dishes but they were all very pleasing to the eye and tongue. A nice experience!

Impeccable tasting course. Various elements of Korea such as history, ingredients, tradition, and the chef's personal story were woven into the experience. We enjoyed every dish.
