"Founded in 1932, Kasbür has been linked to the Kieffer family for three generations. The restaurant on the outskirts of Saverne owes its name to the great-grandfather, a farmer who made his cheeses here. Yves Kieffer, his great-grandson, brought this handsome building into the modern era with its semi-circular dining room overlooking the magnificent Alsace countryside. After working in the kitchens of La Tour d'Argent and Marc Meneau's restaurant in Vézelay, the chef returned, driven by his strong sense of heritage and unwavering standards. We had a lovely lunch in this one star Michelin restaurant: the menu affaire for €45 was fantastic. Three courses and appetizers, sweets… everything was very fresh and tasty: the chef did an amazing job !

I spent a lovely evening here with my husband yesterday. The staff were friendly, the food was very good, and there was plenty of parking available. Everything was great except that we had to wait quite a long time when paying the bill at the end.

I went there with my colleague. Concerning the food for me, it was good. Nevertheless one of my colleagues complained about the fact how her meal was made and the reply was not likely. Then the red wine we ordered were cold, which we found not good at all.

My wife and I opted for the French veal chop with courgette and pommes soufflées. This was beautifully accompanied by a Collioure wine, which was chosen by the sommelier. It was a wonderful experience that we would recommend.
