I recently visited Kliemstein – VinoVitis, tucked inside the historic Salzamt in Linz. The space features vaulted ceilings, soft lighting, and cozy corners that feel both elegant and inviting. I opted for the Bistro Menu, a surprise multi-course experience combining Austria with subtle Spanish and Portuguese touches. Highlights included delicate sashimi of yellowfin tuna in a ginger‑kefir broth, and a masterfully plated venison saddle with gremolata crumbs and Chinese artichoke. The menu transitions seamlessly in flavor and style, showing clear creativity and confidence. Service and hospitality stood out: the owner personally guided us through the wine list—over 1,200 labels and 50,000 bottles—and created a relaxed, in-the-moment pace that let each dish shine. Kliemstein – VinoVitis is stylish, soulful, and offers refined fusion cuisine paired with top-tier wine expertise. It’s a special dining destination I’ll be eager to revisit for the next level of culinary exploration

It is always delicious food and wines, we enjoy those evenings a lot, the food is creative and excellent, the chefs are the servants to their own dishes and the Patron Michael is a real host. Everything was great.

The fantastic place if you’re a gourmet or just value your time, experience and money! Here you will get an excellent service, high cousin and great experience! They have an enormous collection of the wine, which could be perfectly paired with meal!

Came here a couple of months ago when we were visiting Linz from the US and still thinking about the incredible meal we had. Everything was outstanding. Every single course was so delicious, inventive, and unique. The wine, beer, and alcohol free pairings (my favorite) were all amazing and very generous. The owner was so friendly and knowledgeable and we loved getting to chat with him. Next time we’re in Linz we’ll absolutely stop by again!

We were there the first time. The restaurant has a really nice outdoor dining area. The boss is extremely friendly and the cooks bring the meals they created. We had a menu with 4 courses and the price was was really good and the food delicious. We will defenetly come back.

For reference, took about 3 hours for the 10 course dinner. So nice wish I went twice.

Bereits zum zweiten mal dort - sowohl Essen als auch Getränkebegleitung exzellent. Besonders herauszustreichen: sowohl beim vegetarischen Menü als auch bei der alkoholfreien Getränkebegleitung hat man absolut nicht das Gefühl etwas zu verpassen (auch wenn die Weinbegleitung dort natürlich trotzdem absolut empfehlenswert ist!)

Ein wundervoller Abend mit sensationellen 7 Gang Menü. Sowohl Präsentation, Geschmack und auch Zubereitung auf höchsten Niveau. Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend so das man sich rundum wohlgefühlt hat. Sehr Empfehlenswert!!!
