"Plant-based dishes were long thought of as rabbit food (konijnenvoerin Dutch). Thanks to places like this, those days are over. Demian Parasmo and his team bring together local ingredients and creative ideas, often infused with influences from the Mediterranean and further afield. Fermented flavours and playful textures bring each plate to life. Oyster mushrooms from Arnhem, for example, are fermented in shio koji and barbecued, yielding a rich umami taste. These are served with a yeast crumble, a hazelnut cream and wild onion tops braised in Tomasu soy sauce. As for the setting, old world-charm is artfully fused with contemporary design. For a more low-key alternative, head to the antipasti bar at the front. A treat for food lovers!" - Michelin Inspector

Negatives: Small and low tables. Expensive water !!! 10% of the bill was our water (24€)... Filtered maybe, yes but still... Just water. Portions are small. Positives: service, tastes, style, flavours. Really good. Very nice place for one or two times experience. But that's it.

This is one of the best restaurants in Netherlands! You should definitely visit it. The food is amazing, the menu is very unique also changes always, everything is vegan. Oysters were amazing. The atmosphere is fantastic, it very well designed in the basement and staff is superb!

Splendid experience in their antipasti bar. Friendly staff and a delicious sharing menu. We went for an assortment of sides and starters which I would highly recommend. The first floor is a great antipasti bar while at the ground floor is a fine-dining location in an old vault. Highly recommend the sides (menu is changing with the season) but we had delicious Spitskol and roasted pumpkin with vegan whipped ricotta. Almost everything is made in house or locally sourced (including the homemade kombuchas).

The tasting menus at the Konijnvervoer is a great show of vegan fine dining. The biggest surprise was the Gnocchi, the aromatics are unexpected but wonderful. Really sends chills down your spine. The king oyster scallops were able to capture the subtle mushroom flavor just so, enjoyed it quite a bit. The risotto was a good balance to the strong flavor of the mushroom yakitori. I'm a fan of the "mozzarella" made from cashews and the other pickles in it. But would have preferred to own it on its own instead of trying to compare to non-vegan mozzarella. The polenta with pumpkin was good. But was difficult to find how they combined. Leaves you wishing the polenta was sweeter or milder, or the pumpkin and quinoa supporting it better. The dessert had new flavors for me, purple sweet potato icecream with bitter chocolate is a great combination in your mouth! But the pastry itself was crumbly, and my partner's was overdone (even somewhat burnt). Overall each dish was a great surprise and improved on top of the last up until the gnocchi

Best vegan restaurant in town! Lovely service, nice atmosphere, good prices and good food! I had the (beyond meat) hamburger, yummie! The plate was a bit small so I advice to use a bigger plate. The bread was a bit dry, but that was really the only thing I didn't like about my meal. I will be back :)

Great vegan food, good atmosphere and service! The only downside is that it was really hard to reach them by the phone and reserve a table but we came and there was as a free spot. Other than that it was amazing experience!
