He concocts creative cuisine using quality ingredients, such as tempura, corn, mozzarella, bottarga; sea bream, artichoke, purslane: the perfect combination of tastes and flavours! My best meal in a week in Paris. Subtle, enticing flavors, often with a "theme" per course (one of them was even called "celery, celery, celery" :-).) I don't eat seafood, so that meant I was limited to the 7-course menu - at the end of the meal, although I'd clearly had enough food, I was left hoping for one more delicious course. The wine pairings are "interesting", with an emphasis on natural wines. The staff was super helpful and friendly to this non French speaker. Unlimited still or sparkling water is included. As a singleton, I sat at the bar. The seats aren't the most comfortable, but it gave me a chance to interact with the wine guy, which was fun. Highly recommended. Book ahead - reservations strongly encouraged.

Please take the full-course menu. You can't miss out on any of the dishes. It's been an exquisite experience. It was so flavourful and rich!!

There has been a new chef here for the last three months, at least, so I cannot speak to the past 1 star reviews, but this establishment is a work of art, as is the food, the wine curation with the food, and the staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and gracious. The chef came out afterwards and was gracious and inquisitive. What an amazing first “higher end” meal in Paris this was for us. We ate at cafes around the Marais prior to this dinner b/c we hadn’t made any reservations anywhere leading up to this. So glad we came here and were able to get a Sunday res. We are not fussy, but do know what good food, wine, and wine paring is all about, and they nailed it all without question. You don’t need an “open mind” to “get” what’s going on here. Just book a table and let it happen. Do the full course meal and do the wine paring. You’ll not regret it nor will you soon forget it. Exceptional.

A different experience, with 7 to 9 courses being served. All plates were beautifully presented and most of them tasted really nice.

We had a fabulous evening at Korus - it was a total dining experience. Wonderful food, wine, service and atmosphere. We highly recommend the 9 course menu and the 6 wine flight .... worth every penny we spent. Would not hesitate to return. Thank you to all staff for your care and attention

Google
A hidden gem in Paris. I'm so glad for the opportunity. I choose the 9 course meal with a bottle of red wine. Great choice. Absolutely delicious, not only delicious but also very creative. Crew has absolutely in depth knowledge about the dishes. It's a very informative dinner. Also very helpful of choosing the matching wine as well. Please make sure to do an advance reservation. One last tip, next time i'd rather choose the 7 course, you are only not getting the cheese platter and 1 less dessert. Definitely will visit again.

Google
Very surprising place with a kind of Italian-French menu. Dishes were tasty and cohesive, had the 9 dishes tasting menu which was nice for cost-quality-portions. Italian wine was novel and had an interesting taste. Venue was very cozy with a great, calm ambience. Perfect for a nice dinner.

One of the best meals of my life. Exquisitely imagined and delivered. A really special experience. The service was really brilliant and considerate. They adjusted each dish to remove the gluten for me and it meant I could enjoy it all too. Wonderful! Recommended!

Yelp
The most amazing restaurant. My first time at a tasting restaurant and this place was amazing. We were there for almost 3 hours and had the best dishes. Was able to say hi to the chef after the meal and he was so kind and nice to speak with.

Yelp
Simply great experience. Upgraded from 7 to 9 course menu when I saw duck was one of the extra courses and definitely the right decision as that was my favorite dish. Beautiful and delicious food at relatively affordable price for full degaustation menu. Love the fact that still or sparkling water included upfront without some surprising price later (probably an American thing).

Yelp
The flavors were exciting, the sauces were divine. The chef here is inspired and it shines through in each dish. We had the 9 course tasting menu with the Fromage which I forgot to picture. The staff are perfect - you can tell it's important to them for clients to have a great experience. The atmosphere was also perfection - dim lights but bright enough to see every last detail. I hope to make this meal my last meal in Paris on this trip as well. Quaint romantic streets to get there from our place near March Enfante Rouges. Thank you so much Korus!

Yelp
I dined here nearly a week ago on my first night in Paris. After many meals, I can confidently say that this is the best restaurant experience I have had in the city. If I could give more than five stars I would. All of the courses were delectable. The hors-d'œuvres were varied in flavor and all excellently executed. My favorite was the lemony soup pictured in the small blue bowl. The mushroom appetizer was also incredible; they chose a meaty variety that soaks up seasoning well. The two main dishes were incredible. Both included combinations I would have never had the skill to create (like the lobster which was accompanied by corn, beans, and capers). I also appreciated that the meal as a whole was pescatarian. Most set menus include a meat course, and this one was a fresh change. The dessert amuse-bouche could be my favorite course. It was a very simple lemony slush with julienned grapes. It was just so nostalgic and delicious, evocative of childhood summer treats but somehow elevated to a gourmet experience. Dessert was not only a treat for the stomach but also the eyes. It was beautifully presented and delectably balanced. The after-dessert treats provided even more flavor variety to the overall dining experience. My server was incredibly attentive and helpful. The ambiance was intimate, warm, and trendy, while still remaining classy and elevated. Overall, I could not recommend Korus more. If you're lucky enough to have the opportunity to dine here, please seize it.

Yelp
9 and 5, that's all you need to know. Get the nine courses and five wine pairing. The sommelier was very friendly and so descriptive with the wines! The food was amazing and honestly as one of the best meals we've had in Paris. This is a hidden gem!

Yelp
Inventive cuisine by a very young yet talented team. We ordered the "tasting menu" made up of 9 small (or not!) courses *reasonably priced at 68€*, served at the large communal table. Did I mention the friendly staff? Highlights included the pork belly with ginger sauce, perfectly grilled octopus, and 'deconstructed' forêt-noire dessert. 3+ hour dining experience, so bring a worthwhile date!

Yelp
I went last night for my 2nd Meal in Paris. I simply came here b/c I was afraid they would become a " Michelin star" perhaps 2 star restaurant. I did so much research for the right place to eat... this place came up so often I couldn't resist. Atmosphere is cozy and simple. I went @ 7pm on Saturday Not too crowded. I knew they would serve me wines that I never had before in the US, so I asked them to recommend with my 7 course meal. I wish I remembered all those names... but I don't but they're fluent in English you don't have to worry! I am completely satisfied and my plane ticket was not wasted. Not only they're soooooooo delicious, visually very pleasing and its the most creative food I've ever eaten! I couldn't believe the way they paired the ingredients. It was very out of the norm but all so harmonized in your mouth. I really noticed that they thought about the texture of the food as well, my mouth was very exciting all throughout the dinner. And also did I mention how nice they were? I reallly want nobody to know this place, so it can be like my "special" restaurant. But everyone need to experience the "beyond and above" meal. I felt very rewarded after eating here.

Yelp
Bold and innovative flavors made my girlfriend and I happy we tried this place in our last night in Paris. Listing this as a Tapas Bar wouldn't be my first choice - it's really modern European food. I wouldn't even know how to describe the dishes (here's my best -- I had cabbage wrapped oysters on pig's feet, with bitter organe pigeon and a desert of apple sheets with white chocolate granita and celery cream) - and I think the chef changes the menu as he continues to explore. It's for those looking for fun, creativity, and maybe even a bit of a challenge. Was it delicious, well, it was very good. Service was wonderful. But it was definitely inventive and a labor of love and worth it if that sounds good to you.

Yelp
Outstanding and creative tasting menu. Thoughtful wine pairings. Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent value for this quality- we stumbled on this place by accident and it was our best meal in Paris. Do not miss!!

Yelp
I've been to some of the top foodie spots in Paris where you have to reserve weeks or months in advance, and this place was on par with the best. Delicious, creative food that was beautifully presented. Usually I am hesitant to try places that don't post menus, as I don't like meat, but I'm so glad my friend brought me here. The menu was indeed heavy on meat, but they kindly offered to adjust some dishes so that I could have a mostly vegetarian menu. I ended up with roasted carrots with pistachios and chocolate mint, an incredible asparagus nettle soup with smoked haddock on the side, ricotta dumplings in a clear broth that I loved, and one of the best cheesecakes ever. Go now while you can get a table!

Yelp
Beyond. The best meal I had in Paris. DO NOT MISS IT. I am a very picky eater and I just blogged about them. The chef was formerly at NOMA and Jess the Somalier is superb. Natural wines. The creativity in every dish was memorable.

Yelp
I've been several times to Korus, and I now can give an appropriate opinion. Go there! You will find very friendly staff and delicious food! The young chief from Seattle always creates menus with various and inspired composition. I recently appreciated "the meat pie" and a surprising "calf's head burger" which made me realize what an inventive chief can still bring to french restaurants. And juste two days ago, i so much enjoyed the diner, "salade de tourteau, poireau brulé, radis" (edible crab with braised leek salade) "sole, blettes et brocoli sauvage, sabayon citron et amandes" (sole fish with amazing vegetables and lemon sabayon) and my new favorite dessert! "panna cotta oseille et fraises" (which is sorrel flavored panna cotta with strawberries) that... i came back yesterday to have more! I can not end without recommend their marvelous cheesecake and add that the sommelier can make you discover (in perfect english advice) that everywhere on the planet, people are creating such good organic nature wines to complete your degustation. I live in Paris but travel a lot, and would love to be advised of such places when i'm abroad... A beginning very talented restaurant !!!
