Restaurant La Bagatelle

Fantastic dinner! Great food! Great service and very accomodating. Had the bresse chicken for 2 *chefs kiss*

I can’t thank the staff at La Bagatelle enough for the amazing birthday lunch for my husband. The food was excellent and the service was both kind and professional. We felt most welcome. The decor is beautiful. The view of the mountains is gorgeous, even on a rainy day. We are food snobs from NYC and Montreal and we give high marks for everything we were served, including the bread (several varieties of fresh baked with gluten for me and fresh baked gluten free for him). Everything we ordered was perfection, and they made thoughtful adjustments for my husband’s gluten allergy. They even picked us up at the train station and offered to give us a ride back. But we enjoyed the steep 15-minute walk downhill back to town. (Don’t attempt to walk up, unless you are a goat.)

There is a dotted line between rudeness and the way some waiters (waiter or waitress) speak to you at this restaurant. When some of the waiters address you they don’t even have a glimpse of a smile on their face or bother to look at your face. 101 of hospitality. Make sure your employees have some sort of training… There is nothing but nothing special about the food. Yes view is great. But this restaurant is a clear demonstration of huge bubble of the location and the scene. Have a drink here but Go eat elsewhere. What they call medium cooked steak is a rare in UK… it might be my lack of knowledge in switzerland that medium is a complete red… my wife didn’t eat at all. The waitress didn’t even bother to ask if there is any thing wrong with the food. JOKE!!! Won’t come ever again.

Breathtaking views,cozy and elegant inside,food is delicious and staff really friendly and helpful There is a dish for every taste,some veg options as well Amuse bouche and a little dessert are on the house and a very nice touch on top of an already amazing experience Definitely recommended!

Fantastic view, fantastic menue and fantastic wines. The service staff is friendly - slightly too chummy, which we didn't really appreciate. Overall however a very nice experience

Warm unique dining experience with epic view. Great wine list and signature chicken. Excellent service from friendly staff as well.
