Excellent in every sense of the word. Food, first and foremost, masterfully and beautifully executed. Service, second to none. Setting is paradisiacal. Best of all the 3 course lunch menu is an unbeleivable bargain. It would be a shame to be in the area and not treat yourself to the best gastronomic experience in the area, and yes, I know the three starred L'Ostau is a stone throw away but I would take my golden goat anyday, what can I say. Merci La Cabro for yet another unforgettable experience, I dreamed of my eggplant dessert last night.

Both my visits were spaced out by several years, and both times were unforgettable experiences. The 59€ lunch menu is incredibly good value and includes amuse-bouches and petits-fours. All guests were blown away by every single dish. My vegetarian salad entrée, served with no fuss due to my dislike of seafood, was fresh and full of flavour. The veal was succulent and perfectly cooked. The peach & verbena dessert was a perfect Provençal ending to the meal. The famous eggplant dessert, which my husband was looking forward to trying, was wonderfully delicate and surprising in his words. If you like dessert wines, the Corsican muscat available by the glass is to die for. Service was very good, and looking at the gardens and fountain while sitting on the terrace was pure bliss.

It's was our second-time stay in this place and I can say that is amazing because their hotel, restaurant and the place is the best to landscape with you relationship of friends. Happy to have the experience with one of the best restaurant in the world with 3 Michelin start.

Great food and setting but if you can afford it, go to the Oustade de Baumaniere

The service was excellent, even if some of the team may be in stage/training. We had a table of mixed English and French speakers and every member of the restaurant crew addressed each diner in their preferred language. Food and wine were excellent; the many small courses/intermezzos elevate the experience and make the meal (we all did the menu/prix fixte) a complete experience. I want to give extra appreciation to the fennel/aubergine (eggplant) millefeuille dessert; very creative and delicious.
