Restaurant La Carreta

This is a cute and cozy little place that I enjoyed for my birthday dinner with a friend. It was very crowded when we arrived and was a tight squeeze for people to get around. I love the pupusa with pork and cheese and the yuca fries. They have really great drinks! I did not like where our table was next to the kitchen and in front of the bar…lots of traffic and felt in the middle of everything. The women’s bathroom is falling apart and really needs a major revamp. Bar area is really impressive with the neon lights and set up. Lastly on the website it said that there is a dj on Saturday nights but there wasn’t so this was disappointing and one of the reasons I chose to go to this spot. All in all not a bad place if you want to try pupusas.

Food was really good and portion big, its authentic and felt like eating at home but the service was super slow even tho we were 3 tables, it took the waitresse over 20 mins just to bring us the horchata and water and even longer to be able to order food.

I like this place a lot. If you like their type of food, you will love their cuisine. Prices are good for what you eat and people are friendly and don't take very long to get your food.

Awesome place, been opened for a loooong time (I was there the first time over 20 years ago). They’ve renovated since then so the looks is as awesome as the food. And it’s very affordable too! Worth the visit!! ❤️

Delicious pupusas!! We come here every time we’re craving Salvadorian food. The service is great and the place is comfortable.

Cute Latin place yummy food love it , very nice people music dj and more small place but they have a big heart, good for birthday gatherings and good for lovers , go guys bring your loved one have a drink and a good. Bite The girl there her name is Julian she’s a little cute beauty princess hope she serve you cause her smile bring happiness to life .

It’s a nice place but the service sucks. It was empty with just one other couple but it took forever for our order to be taken ( waiters avoiding eye contact) and the food took over 20 minutes to arrive for platanos maduro and a couple of pupusas. The appetizer was served at the same time as the main. And the platanos that were supposed to be ripe and sweet were still green and dry . The Pupussas are crunchy but skip the loroco because there’s barely any in it. The price could be justified by the nice interior and service but since our waitress never even cared to check on us and we had to go get our own check I don’t think we will be coming back.
