Restaurant La Ereta

A lovely lunch. First and foremost, the view itself is worth the hike up to this restaurant, Alicante and the sea lay at your feet. The menu choice is either a 7 or 10 course menu. We chose the 7 course for 85 euros and weren't disappointed. The amuse bouche were inventive. A lot of thought and creativity went into the dishes. Several were very well executed. Only one was not to our liking, but overall, it was a very enjoyable lunch. The staff were friendly, which added to the experience. Next time, we might consider taking the wine pairing to add to the experience.

We booked in for a 2.30 lunch,absolutely amazing restaurant, brilliant staff, food is perfect. One of the best places I’ve eaten in . great view over the city. 👌🏼

This was an awesome experience. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The location, view and atmosphere-all excellent. If you visit Alicante I highly recommend making a reservation for a dining experience. This isn’t just lunch or dinner! Thank you, Cristian, for such a lovely experience.

!!!This is a review regarding the New Years Eve party at La Ereta and not their usual dining experience!!! We chose La Ereta for our New Year's Eve dinner, hoping for a memorable end to the year. The restaurant certainly boasts a great reputation, and while the dishes we were served tasted wonderful, incorporating great ingredients, they didn't quite meet the level of creativity and flair we expected from such a renowned establishment. Service during the evening was a bit of a letdown. It seemed disorganized at times, and the staff often appeared unsure about the details of the dishes they were serving. We had to wait for them to check back with the kitchen multiple times, which disrupted the flow of our dining experience. Moreover, witnessing the head waiter reprimanding the staff multiple times within view and earshot of the diners was quite uncomfortable and seemed unprofessional. The ambiance after dinner didn't quite lend itself to the festive, celebratory mood typically associated with New Year's Eve. There wasn't much in the way of music or space conducive to dancing and socializing, though to be fair, we weren't expecting a lively party scene. Overall, while La Ereta offers tasty cuisine, the overall experience fell short of what one might hope for on such a special night. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant for celebrating major events like New Year's Eve, though it might be suitable for a regular dining outing.

What a wonderful experience! We chose the 7 course meal experience with the wine pairings. Staff was cordial and really helpful with every question we had. The wines were local and perfectly paired with the courses. You cannot choose a better location for a romantic or special night - gorgeous views all the way across and not a bad seat in the restaurant. Absolutely recommend!

Spectacular venue with a fixed rotating menu. 10 dishes plus 2 desserts. Magnificent and not overly expensive for a restaurant of this caliber. Amazing views of the city of Alicante and fantastic service, beyond comparison.

Great view. Great food. Great service. This is the best dining view in Alicante. The price is very fair. We paid just shy of 300Euro for 4 Degus and 1 bottle of red wine. We were STUFFED by the end. The food was really well presented, very well paced and the waiters were very efficient in swapping out utensils and bread. The food itself just wasn't at the level you'd expect on the pallet. Maybe a little too sophisticated. Otherwise, great spot. I probably wouldn't go back unless I was trying to impress a woman.

We made a reservation for lunch on the recommendation of our tour guide Carlos. It was for my wife's birthday so we wanted a special meal. She has severe allergies to all nuts and shellfish, so finding places to eat in Spain has been challenging. I can say they did an excellent job accommodating for allergies even with the fixed menu. The food itself was amazing. Beautiful plated with the highest attention to taste and texture. The view speaks for itself. I would recommend to anyone in Alicante for a special occasion and for anyone who has food allergies.

I honestly don't know what is it that makes so many people excited about this place. The location - yes,superb,offering some amazing views. But the food is at best mediocre. They try to be original and creative but it just does not work. The presentation is nice though. The desserts on the other hand are really good and elaborate. The service could be more friendly, especially this concerns the female stuff.
