Travel Tip: Follow the Best Tapas in Barcelona | Eater

"A bustling Rambla lunch spot ideal for tapas and wine; the writer paired a glass of verdejo with ham- and chicken-stuffed croquetas, a heaping platter of patatas bravas, and a fluffy Spanish tortilla — a classic, affordable place to sample well-executed small plates." - Megha McSwain

Hands down one of my favorite tapa places in Barcelona! (I've been to the different locations) This is my go-spot to bring family and friends especially since it can be hard to find a tapa spots in Barcelona (without reservation). But, here at La Flauta, you can do walk ins! The tapas, wines, and desserts are the creme de la creme!!! Highly recommend the crema Catalana, coconut pudding, pan with chocolate Aceite and sal! And for tapas: everything is DELICIOUS!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Good selection of Tapas and it’s really tasty too. The fish of the day was fresh and a mix of turbot, prawns and squid. Patatas bravas was very good crispy outside and fluffy. Prices are a bit higher but not too bad. This restaurant gets very very busy so you better come early. The restaurant itself is spacious and the service here is fast and friendly.

This place is in a more touristy and convenient location, I can see why the prices are a bit higher for the quality and quantity of the food. We passed by this place couple times at night and saw queues outside, so we went for lunch instead of dinner. My family enjoyed this restaurant, the service was good, dishes were fresh. Overall, this restaurant is a bit overrated, probably because it gets more food traffic from tourists and reviews. I wouldn’t stand in queue for their food.

It's a great place to sit and watch the world go by. We got lucky and got two seats overlooking the pedestrian street under the heater. We ordered some garlic shrimp, fried fish, grilled asparagus and mushrooms, a steak and liver on bread and a chorizo sandwich! We had a beer and a glass of rose each. All in all, it was a great experience! I would highly recommend! The waiter told he to keep my purse and phone away from the table!

As popular as it is, the food was truly delicious. With the fast turnover, the ingredients were also fresh. The razor clams and squid were especially good. The staff were friendly, and the food came out quickly. Both the clara and the sangria were enjoyable — though watching how the sangria was made, it looked more like they were just throwing different drinks together into a punch.

Get the octopus!!! What we tried: Mushrooms Octopus Prawn salad Tomato with burrata Secret pork sandwich Beef short rib beef filet(?) Service was great, they were accommodating in helping us seat our large party (granted it was not busy at the time we visited). Food was exceptional, this was my favorite tapas spot during Barcelona trip. The octopus and the secret pork sandwich were amazing!! Everything else was solid, the barbeque meats (the short rib and filet) were just ok to me.

Staff was attentive, food was served swiftly, however there are hit and misses. Prawns wasn't as fresh, duck breast toast was thick and on the tough side. The eggplant chips and sweet potato chips is very nice.

I have eaten great Tapas all over Spain but this is something else. If you are in Barcelona, make sure you come to this restaurant it is outstanding. Don’t order any top us ask the weight staff. I’m gonna put her picture in there. Ask her to recommend and rare recommendations are amazing at the top. Us are out of this world.
