La Flibuste - Restaurant Gastronomique Villeneuve-Loubet

Lovely dinner on the outdoor patio, surrounded by a wall of interesting plants that make a great backdrop and transport you away from the street on the other side. The jasmine smelled so amazing and added to the ambience along with the pleasant music. The staff was attentive, friendly, informative and patient with our poor attempts at speaking French. We chose the 4 course dinner and it was perfect! Perfect quantity per plate, with an addition of an appetizer with 3 bite size treats. Very thoughtful flavors, textures and presentation throughout. It was not too much or too heavy, just a perfect marriage of all the courses. They even sent us home with a little cake and a waffle treat for the morning, as well as a macron and lemon swirl cookie. Had a great Saturday lunch here yesterday. The six course tasting menu with wine pairing was excellent.

Excellent food & very friendly staff. I was actually surprised that this restaurant has been there for 15 yrs and I never got the chance to try it out before. Well thanks to Google that it showed up as a nearby suggestion to have dinner in. Excellent choice. Very nice interior seating area, and also they said they were going to renovate their outside seating place soon, looking forward to coming back in few months. The food was beautifully presented, tasted very delicious, and the combination of exotic flavors were very well combined. Definitely on my favorite list of places to dine in. *Last update: seems like some changes have occurred in this place, it has earned a Michelin star last month, and since last time I was here (back in 2018) the chef/menu has changed, as noticed.

Great dining experience by the water! I loved how you got to choose between two different tasting menus based on the number of dishes, and every dish was a surprise! The dishes were paired delightfully and the service was impeccable!

Everything was perfect. The tasting menu is original and very well balanced. We truly appreciated the Italian, the Korean and Belgium touches. The decor is beautiful and the service very attentive. A great discovery.

Extraordinary experience. A well deserved michelin star. A journey through flavours. Tasty food, amazing service, perfect location. They were very kind and have told us everything we should know about them and their dishes. The chef, Eugénie Bézat, is very friendly and humble, we even took a picture with her.

We were only passing by on a rush, so we only had the 3 course lunch, and regretted not being able to experience more of the food. « Really worth a detour and a longer stop» should be on the Michelin Guide

Really nice experience with incredible service and inventive, delicious meals. All food was fresh and perfectly cooked. Desert was my favorite!!! Would return again.
