We had a wonderful dinner at La Grange des Agapes, in a setting that felt both relaxed and intimate—the perfect balance for a gastronomic evening without formality.
We chose the Lobster & Vegetables tasting menu, which included five well-composed courses: amuse-bouche, starters, a pasta course, main, and dessert. Every dish was good, but the lobster-focused menu stood out for its flavor depth. Starters and desserts were the most creative and surprising.
The cuisine is precise, well-balanced, and beautifully plated—not fine dining in the strictest sense, but very close to it. Flavors complemented each other thoughtfully and everything showed care in execution.
The service was friendly but attentive, with smooth communication in English (and some French). A lovely touch was the personal presentation at the table by the chef himself.
The wine selection was excellent, with a strong focus on local and mostly organic wines—something we truly appreciated.
Overall, this was our best dinner in the Saint-Tropez area in terms of food, ambiance, and value.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a meal that’s refined, flavorful, and personal—without being overly formal or overpriced.
