Restaurant la Promenade (Maison Dallais)

We celebrated a friend’s birthday here and had the most amazing lunch. We had the tasting menu and it was a wonder of delights paired with a beautiful wine recommended by the sommelier. For a truly special dining experience I can thoroughly recommend La Promenade.

Oh my! Enjoined a magical July evening with family and friends at Maison Dallais. At the start our group (7 adults) selected the Surprise Menu, where the staff planned around our food preferences and allergies and selected apps, main courses, dessert, and wine pairings. We were thrilled with every selection; appetizers and small bites were as carefully constructed and skillfully delivered as the fish and pork courses. A cheese course highlighting local goat cheese made a great transition into dessert…. another delight! A deconstructed Pina Colada followed by madeleines, chocolate truffles, and coffee made a great end to a great evening. Make sure to call ahead for reservations. Bring your appetite. Our party of seven did not feel out of place or too loud for the location. The chef’s choice is accommodating and very highly recommended!

Wow. We stumbled on this place by accident, and what a delight it was. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We are not wine connoisseurs and had no idea what to order. He helped us through our choice of wine and explained the whole menu to us. The food was exceptional I would go as far as to say it was the best food I have ever had. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We were a group of 8 for dinner. Between us we had all that was on offer from the menu - starter, main and dessert. Everyone was more than satisfied with loads of compliments from each of us. Accompanying the delicious food we enjoyed some incredibly tasty wine recommended by the Sommelier - white, red and dessert wines. The atmosphere was relaxed yet sophisticated with friendly smiling staff. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful food, vegetarian friendly by request at booking. An expansive, exquisite meal of a variety of taste textures and smells served to perfection. Excellent wine recommendations to complement the food rather than separate you from your euros, though a night out doesn't come cheap! I hope I will get the chance to return

What a place ! When we were driving to it from Amboise we weren’t quite sure what we’d get. But food was spectacular! Service exemplary. I wish more expensive restaurants (looking at you Mugaritz!) would learn from outfits like these. This is how you make food , present flavour. Thanks a lot !

Oh là là Promenade! We had a memorable meal at la Promenade recently, and what a nice evening it was. Our party of four was welcomed and promptly seated in the dining room on the left of the entry, which is our preference. The menu was full of tempting options but we finally made our selections. Between the four of us we managed to try most everything on the menu. Everything was delicious, and we can't wait to return.

La Promenade is the last thing you would expect in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere: a smallish restaurant offering michelin-starred French cuisine. The set menus offer a less expensive way to enjoy the food here, but it's still excellent quality. The staff are helpful and attentive, and the sommelier more than glad to help with choosing a wine. The desserts are particularly spectacular. It might be a bit out of the way, but if you find yourself touring the chateaux of the Loire, a detour through the farms and fields to dine here is well worth it.

Great food, wonderful service. This Michelin starred restaurant in the small village of Le Petit-Pressigny dispenses with the pretensions you find in some Michelin starred restaurants in larger towns. This is about the food and the service, not the snobbery value. Very relaxed, but very attentive service. Food was top notch. So in the end it represents very good value. We had a great time, our kids had a great time. The restaurant even gave my 8 year old daughter a menu as a souvenir.

This is the best restaurant in the area. The chef creates wonders in the kitchen - all mini-master pieces, which taste delicious. The dining room is charming with lots of light and space, and the smiling waitresses add to the wonderful experience here. The sommelier is skilled too and is able to offer you excellent wine choices from the region. It's a must visit for food lovers.
