Great casual restaurant without a fabulous open fire during the cooler months! A daily menu is a great way to explore the local cuisine and enjoy what the chefs may have harvested from the gardens that day. I always ask as a vegan what they can do and without fail it’s delicious! If you are a meat eater and the have the beef rib - not for me but anyone I have eaten with raves over it ! A lovely vibe - families, friends and lovers everyone enjoying the super hospitality, and if old enough some delicious wines from the vineyard to top it off. This time I had a cosmopolitan from the bar - not on the menu but made exactly as requested not too sweet and sufficiently tart. Toilets are always clean. In the summer you can dine outside which is lovely as the sun sets up on the vines! All in all a fabulous restaurant with a great atmosphere, professional well trained staff and well cooked honest French food! This time mine was leeks, picked onions, greens and herb pesto to begin, followed but a delicious (and perfectly cooked ) saffron risotto, toasted hazelnuts and Agrula. Side note- bread is plentiful made in house and delicious ! During busy seasons if your not staying at the hotel booking is essential!

Restaurant La Table du Lavoir – Les Sources de Caudalie I had lunch here after a wine tasting at Château Smith Haut Lafitte. The staff kindly recommended some local wines to try instead of the estate’s, and both choices were lovely: • Château Marjosse, Grand Vin de Bordeaux 2021 • Château Haut-Bergey, Pessac-Léognan “Cuvée Paul” 2020 The food was simple and farm-fresh, without overly complex flavors — clean and satisfying. My favorite part of the meal was the dessert: refreshing, bright, and perfectly balanced. Since the restaurant was fully booked, service was understandably a bit slow. Staffing seemed limited, and some tables around us had yet to place orders. To keep things smooth, we all ordered the same dishes: Starter: Pâté en croûte with foie gras and pickles Main: Rack of lamb with spinach, broccoli, thyme, and candied lemon jus Dessert: Cardamom panna cotta with citrus and orange sorbet A lovely lunch in a beautiful setting — just be sure to book ahead and bring a little patience. In the meantime, enjoy the charming atmosphere and take the opportunity to slow down and connect with your company.

A cozy restaurant at the Les Sources de Caudalie. We have our dinner on the first night staying at this hotel (as the Michelin restaurant was closed on every Monday & Tuesday) . This restaurant had a cozy ambience offering local cuisine. We had an enjoyable evening there though its menu selection is quite limited. May be it’s because of the ambience and staff are nice and friendly. I love their sourdough bread and the pate’ . If you are staying at the hotel then it’s very convenient to eat here.

Lovely place to eat in beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend.

What a beautiful restaurant! We went for Sunday lunch and everything was exquisite! I would always come back here and still dream about the open ravioli, the apricot tarte and the charming rustic environment!

Not the quality that 2 Michelin stars should guarantee, most were hit or miss dishes, only a few very remarkable. Perhaps 2 of them. Besides that, the service is great, the location is truly amazing. Too expensive for what you get. Now, the setting is gorgeous.

Loved the ambiance and delicious food, not to mention the wines. Ah! Save space for desert! After lunch we walked round the hotel gardens and winery... It's absolutely gorgeous.

Truly, a great lunch experience, with a €50 3 course light special an amazingly priced glasses of wine at the highest quality. The atmosphere is everything you want in Bordeaux, the food is truly incredible, and the service is friendly and accommodating

Superb customer service and food. Upon our arrival, we had booked reservations through the resort. We were seated immediately. The complimentary bread and olive spread was delivered, and so delicious. We ordered a salad with shaved truffles, wine, the steak with roasted potatoes, and pistachio dessert. The steak was soooo flavorful and well worth every bite! I highly recommend eating here a few times if staying at the spa. The food is seasonal, and the chefs do pick fresh produce from their two gardens on site.

What a treat! My vegetarian/gluten-free wife had an amazing zucchini dish with a black garlic sauce and I had a black sausage in philo. Both were amazing! The wine that we had was also (not surprising) delicious. If you are going to be in the Bordeaux area, drive a half hour south and eat here!
