"Set in a luxury hotel complete with a golf course, spa and pool, L’Aupiho pays a vibrant tribute to regional traditions, which is hardly surprising given its location at the foot of the Alpilles and the Baux… This passion for Provence is embodied by a youthful Belgian chef, Lieven Van Aken, who kicked off his career in Brussels before working under Michel Guérard. His recipes are meticulous, but they are also bold and powerful: vegetarian bouillabaisse, saffron rouille; smoked and grilled sweetbread, tartare of seaweed and Mediterranean langoustines. Magical food. Very special, very standards, fresh, creative and unique with friendly and professional service. You will be discovering new flavours that you would have never tasted i.e. fermented tomato juice! It's exceptional and how a restaurant should be. It's as environmental as it gets, sourcing their vegetable from their own farm which we had the chance to visit and composting all their waste. We loved it. I recommend the pumpkin gnocchi with caviar and fennel flower, the lamb with the boutargua and the three kinds of tomatoes.

We had lunch outside on a beautiful day. Food presentation was amazing as well as the staff who were extremely nice. The food itself was personally not the best I had but the experience was nice.

WE thought it wasn't possible to eat better than last year and instead the young belgian chef outdid himself!! langoustine lobster pigeon trout ...fabulous!!! High quality raw material cooked with exceptional flavours.

A really nice spot for an afternoon lunch. Or ideally, you come for dinner and stay the night at the hotel on property. The restaurant is located in a beautifully landscaped area in the hills of Provence. The chef has a vegetarian tasting menu, which is not to be missed. Staff are attentive, however, their English is rusty. Worth the 30 mins drive for a great 1-star Michelin experience.

I am French, leaving in the US. I had the chance to try a few michelin restaurants in Paris and others located in the french Rivieria. It was the best wonderful ecperience. This restaurant deserves another star. At least.
