"Set in a luxury hotel complete with a golf course, spa and pool, L’Aupiho pays a vibrant tribute to regional traditions, which is hardly surprising given its location at the foot of the Alpilles and the Baux… This passion for Provence is embodied by a youthful Belgian chef, Lieven Van Aken, who kicked off his career in Brussels before working under Michel Guérard. I’m hard pressed to think of a better restaurant experience. If you have the opportunity, please splurge and try this. The food is amazing, but I was so impressed too with the service. They were kind, knowledgeable, and so good at what they do. The food…all I can say is wow. Some of our favorite parts were the little bites we didn’t order but they bring out. At some point during the meal, they invite each table back to the kitchen to have a drink that is magical. I can’t remember what it’s called but it involved gin, sheep’s milk, herbs. It may not sound great here, but even my husband who can be a bit picky, really enjoyed it.

Magical food. Very special, very standards, fresh, creative and unique with friendly and professional service. You will be discovering new flavours that you would have never tasted i.e. fermented tomato juice! It's exceptional and how a restaurant should be. It's as environmental as it gets, sourcing their vegetable from their own farm which we had the chance to visit and composting all their waste. We loved it. I recommend the pumpkin gnocchi with caviar and fennel flower, the lamb with the boutargua and the three kinds of tomatoes.

WE thought it wasn't possible to eat better than last year and instead the young belgian chef outdid himself!! langoustine lobster pigeon trout ...fabulous!!! High quality raw material cooked with exceptional flavours.

A really nice spot for an afternoon lunch. Or ideally, you come for dinner and stay the night at the hotel on property. The restaurant is located in a beautifully landscaped area in the hills of Provence. The chef has a vegetarian tasting menu, which is not to be missed. Staff are attentive, however, their English is rusty. Worth the 30 mins drive for a great 1-star Michelin experience.
