Restaurant Le Bistrot

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves here in some excellent surroundings. My wife very much enjoyed her monkfish dish, I however did not enjoy the Entrecote/Ribeye Steak. It was tough and had lots of grizzle. At €32 for the steak dish, I expected better. The deserts were very good as were the staff. We left the restaurant feeling "Could do better!"

For our wedding anniversary, we wanted somewhere close but special and La Stelsia was perfect. Friendly staff, amazing hotel and good food. Lovely grounds with sculptures. We will be back and next time we will try the spa.

This place is amazing! The exterior and interior of the hotel are ablaze with color, the grounds are full of interesting art and topiaries, as is the amazing miniature golf course. The hotel rooms are lavishly decorated, but a bit clumsy in layout. The restaurant was closed so we ate in the bistro - the food was dynamite, the price was a bargain for the quality.||DON'T MISS THIS PLACE!

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in a junior suite with our baby. The hotel is relatively unique, almost a cross between the negresco and Disneyland hotel. Both restaurants are excellent, The bistrot was my favourite with a varied menu. The room decor was modern and very comfortable. Special mention to the English speaking man at reception who I thought had better customer service than I have experienced at leading hotels of the world.

Very colourful and worth a look, nice grounds. We visited the spa, ok but a little expensive and you can't use the out door pool which is a real shame, and was empty when we visited. The mini golf is great and worth doing.

We only used the mini golf so wouldn't be right UK give 5 stars when I haven't experienced most of it. The golf was great, in excellent condition but, being August, was very busy. They do try to control it but it's crazy golf! Reasonably priced.

Very odd kitsch decor, plastic and wild colours in the midst of beautiful French countryside. Bar prices were outrageous. Mini golf however was great and very reasonable. Well maintained course with interesting topiary.

Reading previous reviews I feel slightly guilty in saying that we found the Stelsia rather pretentious; the bright colour scheme almost works, but not quite. The check-in staff were excellent, but the Bistro manager was very off-hand. The lady at breakfast was not very helpful and did not propose any services, but had to be asked several times for basic items, difficult when the buffet spread was minimal and depended on ordering items. The room was very clean but very sombre lighting.|Sadly the Stelsia was not to our taste.
