Le Castellaras - Restaurant & chambres d'hôtes Fayence

We can not fault le Castelleras, the food was incredible the service impeccable. Location is beautiful even on a wet winter night it’s magnificent. The hosts are welcoming and friendly, even very patient with my bellow par French. I whole heartedly recommend that you visit. You won’t regret it. We didn’t stay over but I have no doubt that it is very agréable!

Beautifully located restaurant, accessed by a narrow country lane, nestled on the slope of a hill facing the village of Fayence. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Spacious al fresco dining area shaded by plane trees. Well-composed menu (we went for the chef's selection) with nice, mostly local wine pairings. Truly excellent pigeon main dish, but high quality food throughout. Clean and comfortable room with a view of the valley. Calm and elegant pool area. Highly recommended.

I haven’t been to this restaurant for a long time, and honestly I don’t know why, thank God I went again. It was like in former times an fantastic experience delicious creations. We’ve enjoyed the evening very much, and we will go there regularly again. We really can recommend that place.

Absolutely wonderful dinner in a lovely setting. Staff were very warm and helpful. The food was a delight with many surprises, amazing ingredients and a huge amount of skill. Our children can be fussy at home but they ate everything with relish! Thank you and we will return soon.

A truly underrated culinary experience of the area! We just went for dinner, and I cannot say enough about the food. The atmosphere and service is beyond exceptional. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. For someone that doesn’t speak French, I did not feel out of place or unwelcome, the staff and owners ensured that all of our needs were met beyond measure. I could write a story about how exceptional the food is; however, for the sake of efficiency I will say this: I have eaten in five different regions of France, and by far this was my favorite. Every piece of the menu worked brilliantly together, and nothing was missed. One can tell that the chef and his team know what they are doing. I would recommend anyone and everyone that comes to this region to book a table at this restaurant!

Can only rate the restaurant as we live nearby but the entrance and restaurant are beautiful and clean. A marvellous restaurant with a spectacular view and for winter a huge roaring fireplace. Unique and delicious food that you can see being prepared.

A beautiful hidden gem of a restaurant. Family run, delicious food and fantastic service. I notified at time of booking that one member was vegetarian and the food was adapted as needed. This is a true gastronomic experience and will not disappoint any foodie! From amuse bouche to the final chocolate slated caramel ice pop at the end, attention to details and finesse are up there with other fine dining restaurants. Thank you for an exceptional experience, one which will be forever remembered.
