"The name of this country house is a nod to the nearby island of Gavrinis. The chef, who trained under Pierre Gagnaire, captures the spirit of Brittany as he proudly showcases the produce of this plentiful, vibrant region, with dishes such as his medley of locally grown mushrooms (pleurote, shitake), served roasted, in ravioles, in consommé or his steamed hake in butter served with a white wine, seaweed and Timut pepper sauce. A genuine gourmet halt, further enhanced by the ‘sustainable’ dining room adorned in driftwood and a soft colour scheme of ecru, oatmeal and grey. Excellent food, varied and tasty ingredients. Service attentive without being obtrusive. May be the dining room could exude a little more warmth - but we were there on one of the many rainy days in July, which may go some way towards explaining our feeling!

This was a very nice experience. We took the 7 course menu that started with 5 amuses. I am customed to have arrangement of wine complementing every dish, however it wasn't in the menu. But the sommelier made sure that he would have some suggestions and would even go to lengths to try different wines for the dish. This wasn't necessary because the first wine he came with was a direct match. It was very good. For all 1 star michelin restaurants I was. This was sure 1 to never forget. The food was great, the bread was great. The service was very attentive. If I'm ever close again I will come back for sure.

Nous avons été éblouies par le menu Izenah. Chaque bouchée est un délice. Cuisine savoureuse, raffinée et inventive. Très bel espace dans lequel on se sent bien, bonne musique discrète et service professionnel et chaleureux. Un merci particulier à Léa dont c’était la 1ere journée. Belle expérience. Nous reviendrons.

Que dire de ne déjà dit ? Une table merveilleuse où nos papilles ont été au paradis ! Le menu Terroir était succulent. Des amuses bouches jusqu'au café tout a été parfait. Le service assuré par une agréable équipe "classe" mais abordable a ajouté le surplus de plaisir que nous avons ressenti. Bravo bravo !
