Restaurant Le Panoramique

Excellent in every respect: the smiling welcome (although we turned up for lunch without a reservation), amazing view from the sunny terrace, attentive waitresses, food cooked and presented to perfection, great value - we could not fault it. We enjoyed the alcohol free cocktails and were amused by the robotic waiters which ferried food from the kitchen to the restaurant floor.

The view was beautiful! It was stunning to see the sun set as well. The food was also delicious. I had the dorade and it came with a buttery creamy sauce.

Terrible. Mentioned I was vegan during reservation the day before even though it states they serve vegan as well. Nothing on the menu was vegan. They chucked together a salad of grated carrot, sliced tomatoes, watermelon and cantaloupe melon with no protein. *There were no edamame beans in the salad. Or umami if we're calling it a poke bowl now... Plenty of condescending attitude as you can see by their response. Couldn't even offer a ratatouille. Utterly disgusted. Having now had what the pastry chef made I can only commend them on a spectacular desert. Wonderful in every way. You will go far! Tres bien!

We ate here on the 03/09/2016, for our 40th wedding anniversary, as we celibrated it with a trip to Normandy. There were 4 of us in our party, we had 3 courses each, all different, and very good. The wine selection was vast, but I was driving, so I cannot comment as I did not indulged. Very nice place staff very good. The vue is grand, even though it was raining at the time of our visit! Not overly expensive for this standard of restaurant. Will we go back, if in the area, YES!

As an Englishman, having visited Le Panoramique on four occasions I have nothing but praise for the whole experience. Food excellent, service wonderful and situated in a lovely part of Normandy, not easy to find but well worth the effort.

Many restaurants with absolutely stunning views Ike this one have mediocre food. Not this one. We had a large group with a variety of dishes and the food was fabulous at reasonable prices for what you get. My only possible knock is the decor; it is a kind of white laminate art deco, almost like what you find in some east Asian restaurants in the U.S., or a 50's diner without the kitsch. It was coherent and well done, but a bit incongruous.
