Le Cornettes They saved our friday night! They made room for us last minute. Very lively and welcoming, family friendly yet good for childless couples too. I'll break down the highlights; The staff was a whole other level. Super good vibe, everyone is obviously happy to work here and it makes a difference. Kids food comes quick and they made special accommodations for us, a bit off menu. Superb team The menu is what you could hope for. Prices are fair, very reasonable, especially since food is guaranteed to be good and from the area. Regional products, delicious burgers with cute names (like Mac Biquette) and wildly tasty combinations of platters. It's hard to choose between all the high quality and diverse options and specialties. The bar is top, they call a pint a 'sérieux' which is just a nod to the whole wonderful welcoming and fun vibe. The bartender made me a virgin cocktail that was divine. Live entertainment was great, props to the singer. Good voice, eclectic and considerate. Everyone here is flexible and welcoming and talented. Strongly reccomend this place, will be returning soon.

Amazing food and great atmosphere. Super friendly service. We had a Christmas dinner there and it was a absolutely amazing.

Ordered an enormous omelette and wasn't disappointed. Move staff who tried to do their best in talking English as our French of a lot worse.

Genuine and very good French local cuisine . Food of great quality, and a specially pleasant staff to serve it. Check all the animals at the entrance !

This is my favourite restaurant. It is absolutely awesome. I would go on holiday to Châtel only to have a chance to eat in this restaurant again. It’s amazing, specially for cheese lovers.

They even prepare dishes for vegetarians when not on the menu. Recommended.

What a shame! After 30 years of coming to cornettes,its with a sad heart that we have to say we wont be back!!! The end of an era! It has always been our favorite restaurant in the area,from 1990 our children,grandchildren have allways loved it! Unfortunately the food and quality of the food is no longer up to standard,the service is mediocre and it is just ordinary,no wow factor anymore and no atmosphere and no smiling faces! what has happened,I know times change ,but the change here which isnt a change is to its detriment and you only have to try the food at one of the neighbours Atelier Jacky to see the difference,the lovely setting is all the same,but what has happened! I know the original chef is unfortunately not with us anymore,but unfortunately the shoes are too big to fill.Its a restaurant now existing on its years of good reputation rather than the food and service it used to provide.Will not be back(more than 100 visits here over the years)
