A great restaurant, with quality ingredients. We enjoyed our experience very much. We asked for a wine recommendation which did not disappoint, the staff are knowledgeable. Food was outstanding, cooked to perfection. I would recommend a visit to anyone that enjoys food and wants a true dining experience. This is not a fast food restaurant, it's a place to come to enjoy an evening of quality dining and very good wine!

Good restaurant BUT!! there is one big remark and that is that they charge way to much money for the fish!! There are other restaurants to eat the same quality for less money. We paid € 108 for a John Dory fish which can be bought on markets for 20 to €30/kilo in Belgium so a total rip off...oh yes they also tried 2 times to charge us with bread we didn't requested... Ofcourse they gave back the money because their little trick didn't work... So yes i know war honesty is and i can say with confidence that is is not present at this restaurant! Future customers you have been warned!! And we come more than 20 years to L'estarit and we are not the only ones with this opinion.

Better than some Michelin star restaurant. Everybody was so kind and the food and wines were impeccable. Interior is so nice. We have been here twice and would like to come back.

Exquisite fish courses ,quality ingredients ,mussels starter was the best I have ever had ,you view the uncooked choice of fish ,we had John dory for the main course which was perfectly cooked , great wine recommendation ,attentive service , relaxed atmosphere , cant recommend it enough,best meal we have had in a few years

Went on July 2018 with 3 people ; we asked for grilled mussels as starter and codfish and salad ( no vegan or vegetarian options).
Pluses:
+ nice staff, attentive and kind
+ give menu in you language
+ savory grilled mussels (the 2 stars)
Deltas:
- codfish was soggy-apparently frozen fish . Also they could grill more the skin side of the fish; not really a good technique for a restaurant where the difference are the grilled fish and meat.... I consider a overpriced dish (see photo) for the quality offered.
Don’t be impressed by reservation procedure, show up of rare food before cooking, ambient or Michelin mention; you can find good dishes in more simple restaurants with affordable price and better quality.

My wife and I went here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Food was outstanding. We had roasted lamb. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Superb service and atmosphere. It may expensive by L’Estartit standards but, oh my, it’s worth every cent. Thank you all for such a wonderful dining experience 😊
