Restaurant Löwen

This place is phenomenal. Ramona and Stefan make you feel like friends invited for dinner right away. Only the food is Michelin star quality. Every course was a delight including the lamb filet with asparagus risotto. The wine list is impressive without being daunting. I am already planning my next visit.

I enjoyed a fantastic lunch. Food was great, service attentive and friendly. The chef Steffen even said hi after the meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a small, Michelin mentioned restaurant run by chef Stefan and his girl friend Ramona. Food was amazingly good. Attention was paid to quality, presentation and taste. Had a wonderful dinner. Would have given 2 extra stars if possible.

The best food I have eaten in a long time. No a la carte. The Chef cooks a new menu every day depending on the fresh local ingredients available on the day. Very friendly service and cosy atmosphere. Not cheap but well worth it.

I'm just loving it. No menu card available! Menu is prepared by the cook and is always delicious. Accompanied with a super service personal that unfourtunately leave the Löwen on January 2018. Overall the best restaurant in Walenstadt!

We stayed overnight...nice and peaceful place. Restaurant serves nice breakfast and is walking distance from the lake walensee.

The food was incredible in Restaurant Lowen. We were celebrating an 80th birthday. Boy, was it a celebration! The 21 course meal, served family style was a delectable, delicious treat. Every single dish was a joy to taste. The food was unforgettable, the service remarkable, and the experience of dining at a Michelin restaurant for the 80th birthday celebration will last a lifetime. I might just fly back to Walenstadt just to eat at the Restaurant Lowen.
