I ate at several amazing restaurants during my stay in the region. MAJU tops the list as the best restaurant I experienced during my trip. It's creative food, well-decorated, well-prepared, fancy but not overly complicated. I took the 5-course menu. The St Pierre was extraordinary, as was the langoustine on the bed of tomatoes. My only regret was that I have come to realize I don't enjoy pigeon. I have now eaten pigeon three times, at Iodé in Vannes, at Pomme d'Api in St Pol de Léon and at MAJU, I have given it my best shot. This does not take away from the 5-star experience because it is a personal taste issue. Maybe one day restaurants will start serving farm fresh free-range chickens again. Until then I will ask for a replacement dish.
