Restaurant MARIO

The food was amazing. Thanks to the new chef Sill and his team who prepared the food. The chef came over and introduced himself, we had a little talk and he explained all the new ideas he had while maintaining the classic Italian Mario style like it was before. This was our first time dining here and would definitely come again soon. Can't wait for the new menu next season. Special thanks to the Italian guy working there ( I forgot his name ) he was so sweet and explained everything we ate and made sure we had a good time.

We were with our friends here for the first time. The food was disappointing at best, it lacked flavour, too bland. Price/quality ratio is so unbalanced, I would never recommend this to anyone. The interior is also lacking taste.

Went there for our wedding anniversary. Food was exceptional good and the host super charming, welcome and transferred you to an original Italian atmosphere. Would recommend it for a classy enjoyable dinner. Pricey but worth every single penny and would certainly return back.

One of the best seven course meals I have had. Really epic service, brilliant wine. The service was a bit slow, but every dish was well worth the wait. But damn I have never seen better service in all my travels. It also happened to be the night when I proposed to my girlfriend and I think this dining experience really put her in the mood to say yes. So I owe Restaurant Mario a bit one. We both will be coming back for more. Really want to stay the night at their wonderful hotel next time.

Food was good, but I expected more after the stories told. Staff was friendly, but reserved. Explanation with every dish. Sometimes things were made up, because the ingredient was not on the plate. What I missed was bread/spoon to enjoy the nice sauces.

Upscale Italian in a tiny village in rural Netherlands. The service was good, and the restaurant is nice. Unfortunately we got placed in a seperate room, which was still nice, but it lacked some of the atmosphere of the main seating area. The food was delicious, and we didn't leave hungry. Small edit: went there twice more, including the option with a night stay included. The atmosphere in the main restaurant is great and the food has been terrific. Will definitely go back there every once in awhile.

This Amsterdam hidden Gem. Best tasting food restaruant one of the best dinning experinece I had in my life. Everything, food, service, atmosphere 10/10.

One of the best restaurant I have ever been to in my life. Away from traffic and busy suburbia; once sat you will feel like you are dining a family home, surrounded with with friends. The meal was exquisite. Highly recommend the 7 course... not because the portions are small (you will be filled before desert is served on 5 course) but because you will kick yourself for not experiencing EVERYTHING! It was quit obvious why every table was filled on the rainy Tuesday evening. Can't wait to return

Had fun going to a cooking workshop for part of a friend's bachelorette party. We prepared a five course meal assisted by the lovely Mario himself! We had a blast!
