Restaurant Max'es

We had dinner here in a stopover. Safe choice, nice atmosphere. Bit higher priced. - service was run by 2 friendly gentlemen. We were the first guests and they were attentive. But, when a large group arrived, they lost attention to the other guests i.e. us. No checking in for drinks, had to beg for the bill - bar/hotel atmosphere, quite nice. Nice seating - food and drinks quite alright, nice rose wine, dark beer. Bruscheta was ok. They have a cheese wheel, nice. Good pasta although the black tiger shrimps to the side were not needed (bit too expensive, 12 euro.., for that too). The starter shrimp was different then expected (suggests fried, but were cooked). Wiener schnitzel was decent. Benefit of the doubt, 4 stars

Great food. The potatos were okay, could have done more with them creativity wise. White asparagus is a bit too bitter but hits the marks in texture. Steak and sauce Hollandaise on point! Excellent job! Service is friendly, knowledgeable and just lovely. The atmosphere shows that the restaurant belongs to a hotel and could be easily upgraded to lose that characteristic. Overall great job, will be back if in the area

Had late diner (21h00) here on a Thursday, ordered the burger with flaming cheese, was good. Desserts weren’t available anymore.

I stayed at the hotel above while on a business trip. The restaurant staff were fantastic, the food was very good with a great selection, and the quiet environment was excellent. I’d highly recommend to anyone traveling through.

Very typical and nice German restaurant. There is a good selection of meaty dishes, but if you like fish or you are vegetarian, your choices are very limited to 3 or 4 alternatives, probably a couple for vegetarians. The quality is absolutely good, and the young staff is very friendly and full of smiles. On the tap you have Dunkel and Weizenbier, a plus from my point of view.

So Nice food! The best salad me and my girlfriend have ever had! And The main cource was delicious 😍 The dessert (bandana split) was amazing. Staff was 👍👍👍👍
