An absolutely magnificent fine dining experience. Every single dish was stunning, especially those made with ingredients from the Wadden Sea. The set course menu is a must-try for anyone looking for creative, delicious, and expertly crafted food.

Outstanding dining experience worthy of a first Michelin star in a historic setting in the heart of Groningen. We chose the 7 course menu with selected wines and it started with a local touch from the Wadden Sea and further explored more substantial food directions. Great service, innovative and great chef and good explanations with every course. Highly recommended!

We went to restaurant Nassau to celebrate a birthday. Honestly, I can not understand how this restaurant did not receive a Michelin star so far. The food definitely is on the level of the other Michelin star restaurants in Groningen and the service is rather on the level of 2-3 stars. Especially the sommelier made the experience remarkable. Amazing food, amazing wines which fit the menu very well, and a great atmosphere. We celebrated a birthday and when we left, we were handed a little take-home gift with a card written in the native language of my partner. A very nice gesture from a restaurant that really deserves the star that they (I assume) rightfully are aiming for. If you are in Groningen this is definitely a must visit and I am glad to come back any time!

The tasting menu should be your first choice: fine dining at its finest! Cozy atmosphere and a group of young nice people wrapping up the whole experience, one that involves all your senses like no other form of art does.

Fabulous location and excellent service. The food is very good. Being picky, t I wish the chef would be a little less fussy and just let the (excellent) ingredients speak for themselves more. Overall a great experience, highly recommended!

Absolutely lovely experience! Booked here for the 7-course menu for my birthday and it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding food & wine pairings, as well as handled my specific allergies with great care. In the end, they sent me away with a special treat to take home for my special day and we left feeling happy and fulfilled with the entire experience. I look forward to returning again in the future!

Absolutely worth 5 stars, phenomenal food and exceptional service. It's not the question if, only a question of when this restaurant will receive one or more Michelin stars. No need for a lengthy review, just go here and enjoy the fact that you'll experience what you expect. A special compliment for the great sommelier Ronald Aikes.

Great experience with delicious food, good wines and the whole staff around sommelier Ronald is so great. We definitely will be back when back in Groningen!
