Natura offers a refined yet relaxed take on modern Finnish cuisine. The menu highlights seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Flavours are interesting, though there was some overdoing in some of the dishes. For example the Japanese group didn’t approve the use of nori and I would have left it away as well as it dominated the dish too much. The atmosphere is intimate and calm, but our table got quite uneven lighting: half of the group sat under the bright kitchen lights and light from straight above is never good for your face. 😉 The service was knowledgeable and friendly without being too formal. A great place to experience contemporary “New Nordic” cooking in Helsinki — thoughtful, sustainable, and delicious.

Had a 7 course menu with my husband. I am 34 weeks pregnant, and the course menu was curated very well for my preference. Ah, their sourdough bread was definitely one of a kind. The staff was very good, and the service was very good as well. We really liked the concept, and it did inspire us to think of different flavours. The simplicity of the dishes were highly rated. 4 stars because we had some not so good moments with a few dishes. 1. I was offered the same dish on 2 different courses, and was quickly replaced with a different one when mentioned. 2. The risotto with mushrooms was one of the main course. However, the whole dish was very lemon zesty. Way too overpowering that I could not eat the dish. It felt like I was squirting a whole lemon in my mouth. I did enquire, and they mentioned, there should be a dash of lemon, but this did not seem like a dash of lemon. I could not finish this dish.

Friendly service, but an uneven dining experience. Normal felt welcoming, with very friendly and attentive service, but the overall experience was mixed. The space was quite tight, the pumpkin soup leaned too sweet, and we waited a long time for the main course, which disrupted the flow of the evening. A cozy atmosphere, though the food and timing didn’t fully convince.

My favourite restaurant in Helsinki, and once again an absolutely wonderful experience. The food and wine pairing was excellent as always, perfectly balanced, thoughtful, and simply delicious. This time, however, I would especially love to thank our server, Natalia. She truly stole the show. So professional, yet incredibly easy-going and warm, her personality is everything) She made us feel so welcome and genuinely taken care of throughout the entire evening. Thank you, Natura, for having her on your team. She made our Valentine’s Day unforgettable!❤️

Unfreshed food, poor plating, low service and meaningless combination of the ingredient with extremely high price. When you see these garbage on the table, you will immediately understand why they do not want you know the menu of their tasting menu. It is absolutely the waste of time to eat here.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but our experience here was disappointing enough that I feel future diners should be informed. While I understand that taste can be subjective, the dishes simply did not meet our expectations. What made the experience far worse, however, was the manager’s unprofessional, dismissive, and borderline rude attitude. 1. When my friend politely asked whether the drinks were free to top up, the manager rolled her eyes—an unnecessarily disrespectful reaction. 2. Throughout the entire meal, no one came to check on us, ask how the dishes were, or see if we needed anything. At restaurants where we typically spend around €80 per person, this level of service is standard and expected. Because no staff checked in, I had to request the manager myself at the end of the meal. 3. When I tried to share constructive feedback, the manager repeatedly interrupted me and insisted that they served 52 diners that day and only our table of six had complaints. She also stated—rather arrogantly—that they only ask for feedback at the very end and not during the meal. But if something is wrong, what is the point of asking only after everything is finished? As a frequent diner at many restaurants, here is the feedback I tried to share with the manager but gotten rudely interrupted by her was not allowed to fully express: * The duck dish had a very strong gamey smell, largely because it was covered with a thick layer of fat. While fat can enhance flavor, in this case it intensified both the greasiness and the smell. When I removed some of the fat myself, the duck tasted noticeably better, which suggests that the dish could be significantly improved if the fat were rendered or trimmed more carefully. I actually enjoyed the cranberry component—it balanced the heaviness and added a refreshing touch to the dish. Unfortunately, the manager would not let me finish explaining any of this and dismissed everything by saying, “This is how we do our dishes. And other customers don’t complain” As paying customers, we absolutely have the right to share polite and honest feedback. Instead, we were met with eye-rolling, interruptions, and a defensive attitude. The entire interaction made us feel unwelcome, and I honestly cannot tell whether this was due to us being Asian and being discriminated or simply a reflection of unprofessional customer service standards. I hope the restaurant takes this review seriously—both to improve the dishes and, more importantly, to improve the way customer feedback is received.

Visited this cozy little gem on a pedestrian street in the design district in October, 2025. Highly recommend. The Michelin Green Star shows in the local ingredients. Service was first-rate, but unfussy. The dishes (and carrot cocktail) were great. I only regret we didn’t have room for more. The dish I keep thinking about is the cheese course with archipelago bread (saaristolaisleipa) and carrot jam. I’m going to have to try and create a version of this in my own kitchen; if it turns out remotely decent, it might ruin me for other bread. Not even the quietly bickering British couple next to us could dampen the evening.

I had the 4-course surprise menu and I can honestly say it was exceptional from start to finish. Each dish was beautifully crafted, full of flavor, and showcased a level of creativity and precision that truly impressed me. The progression of the courses felt thoughtful and perfectly balanced, making the whole experience flow seamlessly. They currently hold a Michelin Green Star, which highlights their focus on sustainability and it’s absolutely deserved. That said, based on the quality of both the food and the service, I truly believe they are operating at a one Michelin star level. It’s almost surprising they haven’t been awarded one yet. This place is a true gem. If you care about exceptional food, thoughtful service, and a restaurant with values, Natura is an absolute must-visit.

The experience at Natura was incredible. Every dish was extremely well curated and packed with balanced flavors. The time between services can seem long, but I believe it's all part of the experience. You need time to enjoy every bite and prepare your palate for the next course, and the staff at Natura understands that perfectly. The whole evening flew by, you truly lose track of time.

It was a great experience here. It was very reasonably priced. My husband and I had four course tasting menu and it was really fun. I am only giving four because the service was a bit slow. It took a long time to get our drinks and my husband ordered an extra plate of oyster, but he never got it. We didn't complain since they didn't charge us. Maybe it was a miscommunication in English. I have to say that they were very flexible with my diet restriction and they brought us three extra bites which were nice surprising. I highly recommend the place if you looking for a casual experience in modern Finland food.

We ate a 4 course tasting menu so we didn't choose the food ourselves. The only delicious course was the starter, freshly salted white fish with sour milk and thin slices of kohlrabi. We had to wait for ages for the second course and I didn't like the mundane and tasteless cauliflower and apricot. The beef of the main course was also tasteless and the taste of green peas overpowered everything else - for some reason there were peas both mashed and boiled. In addition there were a couple of thin meaningless slices of cabbage. The dessert looked like a heap of snow but was actually honey yoghurt in different forms and textures. It was okay but it resembled more breakfast than dessert. The waitresses and waiters introduced the food to us so fast and spoke in so quiet voice that we caught hardly half of it.

I was directed to this restaurant by another because when I walked in the kitchen was closed. I wasn't sure what to expect late on a Sunday night when most restaurants in Helsinki were closed. The menu was either small Tapas or a set tasting menu. Since it was late I assumed they wouldn't allow me to order the tasting menu as there were only 2 other seated tables at that time. I was wrong the waitress politely said of course; which would you like the four or eight course? In addition to kind prompt, polite, efficient service the food was outstanding. Each dish was perfectly seasoned with a multitude of fresh ingredients. Each dish was unique and innovative. The main course a beef braised for over 24 hours was served with a parsley purée infused with lemon and a cooked pear and new potatoes; simply perfect! Several dishes were served by the chefs brought to me from the open kitchen. I can't say enough good about the food and the price very reasonable. Small but nice wine selection. Don't miss this place!

Great! A tasting menu of small, modern dishes with Finnish flavors and ingredients. The frozen yogurt dessert was to die for! Refreshing and not overly sweet or heavy.
