We went in as a couple for Saturday lunch and had the market menu, which was 2 for £29 or 3 for £35, with the initial intention of having 3 for £35.
The atmosphere and service were perfect, really friendly, helpful and comfortable.
The menu appeared to have really good options and we looked forward to our meal.
I had the pork to start followed by the beef and my wife had ewe's curd to start and John Dorie for main. The fish and meat were really good, no complaints, but the rest of the plate was a bit nondescript, and wasn't the same level as the protein.
After having these 2 courses, we decided to skip dessert. All in all a nice lunch, but probably wouldn't come back.
