Restaurant Niedmühle - Land & Genuss Hotel

Having a free weekend in the middle of a business trip to Luxembourg my wife and I spent it at Restaurant Niedmuhle Land and Genuss Hotel. It was just fabulous! The suite at the top of the building was recently refurbished with modern stylish furniture and fittings. The garden at the back of the hotel runs down to the river and is a haven of peace and quiet. The Stars of the show are - the amazing food and friendly and efficient people. For dinner on the Friday night we had the 'taster' menu, on Saturday we chose from the a la carte. The food was inventive, clever, looked beautiful and better than that - it tasted heavenly. Accompanied by lovely Riesling wines. The owners and staff made us feel so welcome and we will be recommending the Niedmuhle to everyone we know in Luxembourg - and we'll be going there again ourselves. Thank you Tamara and Stefan.

High quality recent refurbishment gave this hotel a fresh appeal. Both bedroom and bathroom had restricted height ceilings in part of the room. Steep steps, three flights, would exclude anyone of limited mobility. We arrived on a night with a spec BBQ and live music. At 89 euros each without drinks that was a bit much for an overnight stop on a longer journey. There didn't appear to be an. alternative. An alert when we booked would have been helpful, we would have gone elsewhere. Excellent breakfast made up for it .

I have stayed in this hotel only two nights during my business trip. Kind of strange hotel, we came in the evening there was no reception, the key was stored in locked box. We had to call on that number that was on the door for pass code to the box - strange. But room was very nice, big and comfortable bed, fridge, minibar, sat TV, etc. Really very nice and stylish. Bathroom big enough, comfortable, with free toiletries, towels. Room was clean. On the corridor were machine for free tea and coffee - nice. About the breakfast - poor selection, not enough. Too fare away from city/ village. All in all - nice rooms, but kind of strange attitude for me.

The rooms are not big but very clean and comfortable. You can see and feel that they are build to please. The only downside are the many stairs as the rooms are under the roof and there is no elevator.||The breakfast was delicious and the service very warm and friendly.

Wir waren gestern am Ostersamstag zum Essen in der Niedmühle und sehr enttäuscht. Der Service war eine absolute Katastrophe. Die Dame im Service war sehr unfreundlich und hat uns sofort mehrfach gemaßregelt. Man könnte sie mit Fr. Rottenmeier vergleichen. Das Burbachschnitzel war sehr dunkel gebraten und salzlastig, die Pommes hart und trocken, das Gemüse leider kalt serviert. Die Vorspeise dreierlei Süppchen waren gut, der einige Pluspunkt. Für diesen doch stark überzogenen Preis war das Essen sehr enttäuschend. Wir werden dieses Restaurant ganz sicher nie wieder diese aufsuchen.

Immer wenn wir unsere Freunde im Saarland besuchen, gehen wir in die Niedmühle. So auch am vergangenen Freitag. Wir fanden das Menü schon immer recht gut, aber diesmal war es wirklich ausgezeichnet. Alle Gänge waren traumhaft, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (wir kommen aus Frankfurt) ist sehr gut und dazu noch ein netter Service. Was will man mehr?! Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team.

Ich war letzte Woche zum 1. Mal im Restaurant Niedmühle und wir haben ein 5-Gänge Gourmet Menü mit Weinreise genossen. Es war einfach nur traumhaft und sooo lecker. Es hat einfach alles gestimmt, wir wurden herzlich empfangen, das Ambiente war top, unsere Bedienungen, insbesondere Frau Gambalonga, waren toll und sehr aufmerksam und das Essen ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Herzlichen Dank an Frau Burbach und Herr Burbach, Sie haben uns einen wahnsinnig tollen Abend bereitet und von uns gibt es eine 100% Weiterempfehlung. Es lohnt sich definitiv auch dort zu übernachten, tolle und saubere Zimmer und das rauschen der Nied im Hintergrund bescheren eine angenehme Nachtruhe. Das Frühstück am Morgen war passend zum Abend, lecker und genussvoll.
