This Thai restaurant came highly recommended, so we decided to give it a try. With all the compliments we had heard, our expectations were pretty high.
The starters were very good! The duck spring rolls and papaya salad were excellent and right amount of spiciness. Unfortunately, the satay chicken skewers were disappointing. They tasted more like steamed or oven-baked chicken rather than grilled, which made the texture a bit off and dry.
For the main dishes, we ordered the chef’s special lamb massaman curry and fried fish and sadly, both fell short. The curry was overly sweet and didn’t taste like a traditional Thai curry at all. The fried fish reminded us of sweet and sour chicken, just with fish. The dishes were also lukewarm...
Overall, the starters were nice, but the main dishes fell short. Considering the prices, the quality was underwhelming. Not my cup of tea, unfortunately.
