Restaurant Normal

It has allways been my dream to eat a one of the Roca restaurants, last week we got to experience Normal and it was one of the best restaurants we have been to. Service was impecable, we got there earlyer than the reservation and they found us a table and obviosly food was amazing. We did not have dessert because we wanted to try Rocambolesc by Jordi Roca and it was great too.

We came here after multiple recommendations from friends and it didn't disappoint. The food was top, especially the orzo with artichoke and the vieiras. The sommeliers chose a great local wine for us. The service was lovely. I would come back in a heartbeat.

We know El Celler de Can Roca, so we were curious about the „normal“ restaurant. We called for a reservation but they were booked two weeks in advance. We were lucky to get a table as a walk-in as there was a last minute calculation. Many „tourists“ here, not so many local Spaniards. I say this because the last seating was around 8:30pm and not 10pm. The food was great- some better than others. We loved the croquet, paté, beef Wellington and the vodka cake. The mussels were super interestingly prepared and delicious. The rice was good, but nothing special. Great wine list also by the glass. A great experience for foodies.

We had dinner here last week. Overall a positive experience with good service but all in all not as special as it pretends. Dishes were well prepared but not very refined. Wine was good. We had a late seating (8:30pm) and place was almost empty when we left

World class food with top class service. We had the taster menu and each dish surpassed the last. The lamb terrine was outstanding. Our server was friendly, professional attentive and very knowledgeable. Great experience. 👌

No visit to Girona is complete without a stop at Normal! Highly recommend the tasting menu, but note that for full vegetarians, it is a bit limiting.

Amazing food. Very creative. The idea of having fried egg over a Russian salad is genius. Basically you have all the tastes of various ways of making an egg in one dish. May the force be with this place

Amazing meal (we had the set menu), lovely service, really personable team. Everything was delicious, probably the best chocolate dessert I've ever had!
